Story
Hi, my name is Manny, I am 100% American Staffordshire ( my parents did a DNA test on me). I am a 3 year old neutered male. I am stunningly handsome (so I'm told) Other animals make me anxious, so I would need to be the only pet. I love to be with my people. I love to go for rides, play ball/chase, I love to go for walks but sometimes get reactive when I encounter other dogs/cats. I am extremely strong so I need an experienced large dog owner, even though I am under 70#'s my Dad says I'm as strong as a horse. My Dad is not as healthy as he use to be so it's difficult for him to give me the excercise I need/want. I love people big, small, young and old. I'm house trained. I'm very gentle when eating or taking treats. I can sit, give you my paw lay down, I am very treat motivated. I watch the Animal Planet when my parents aren't home. I love stuffed, antlers and ball to play with. My parents want to find someone or a family that can offer me more activity than they can. Wish me luck

Story
Sorrel came to us with his sister Tulip after a tornado caused some pretty significant damage to our town. He was lucky and was not injured like her! Sorrel would be such an awesome dog to train! He’d be a great working dog of some sort! Here he is sitting and waiting before thresholds. While I don’t have the time to do this with every single dog, it’s always amazing when I have time to work with some of them! Sorrel is one of my favorites to train— he’s highly food and toy motivated and learns really fast! I’m NOT a professional dog trainer (as you can see his “heel” isn’t very well-placed) but any kind of basic obedience is better than none! Sorrel can be wild at times, but during our short training sessions, he is always focused and eager to please!! Story
Kodi has grown up here! She was found at only days old with no mom around so our director bottle fed her. She is soooo ready for a home of her own. She can be dog selective, but she loves playing with others. She loves cooling down in the pools in summer time. She loves walks and is good off leash, once she trusts you! Kodi loves her people, and loves affection and attention— she will try to steal it all! She’d do best in a home without kids. She’s a small but active girl and would make a great hiking partner! She loves cuddling with a blanket and toys at the end of the day. She can be stubborn in training, but she has the biggest heart! Story
Dakota was adopted out and came back to us after years in a home. She’s an older girl and needs a forever home to grow old in! While she could use a diet, she is an active girl and loves going on runs/walks! She prefers male dogs. Dakota is good on and off leash, and she is smart and food motivated. While Dakota loves her people, she would do best with older, dog experienced children, as she’s getting old and could potentially be grumpy. Her perfect life would consist of walks and yard time, and then cuddling at night!

June is such a good girl. She came to us starved and thin. She has been here for 3 years and deserves a home of her own. She is great with cats, most dogs but does prefer male dogs, great on and off leash, good with kids and everyone she meets.

Story
alk about STUNNING! 😍 Our big boy Mater is eager to find his forever home! He’s good with other dogs, but we prefer he goes to a home with bigger dogs that he can roughhouse with! Though he’s protective of his yard, perhaps due to being a cane corso mix, he is great with meeting new people! Food is the way to his heart, but he loves affection and quality time as well. Obedience training would be good for him— He can be quite stubborn, but his food motivation outweighs that! Mater is great on and off leash, and he’s eagerly awaiting a home who will show him love! If you are interested in fostering or adopting Mater, please email wynnefoa@gmail.co
