Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm

Meet Ford: The Toy-Loving, Critter-Chasing Goofball Looking for Love! Hey there! My brother found his forever home, and now it’s my turn! I’m Ford, a 1 ½-year-old, 49 lb orange and white neutered male Brittany, and I’m still on the hunt for an amazing home filled with love, snuggles, and, most importantly, TOYS! Why I’m the Perfect Goofball for You: Toy Enthusiast: Did I mention I LOVE toys? Squeaky ones, bouncy ones, chewy ones—you name it, I want it! You can’t spoil me too much when it comes to toys! Best Friend Material: I’m all about being your loyal buddy. Whether it’s playing with my toys, chewing on bones, or just being by your side, I’m here for it all. Yard Patrol Expert: I need a physical fenced-in yard so I can run, play, and chase away any critters that think they own the place. They need to know who's boss (hint: it’s me). My Dream Home: A Family Who Loves Fun: I’m looking for a family that loves to play and doesn’t mind a little silliness. Lots of Snuggles: I’m a sweetheart who loves to snuggle up and be close to my humans. A Yard for Adventures: I need a safe place to run and play to my heart’s content. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-obsessed pup who will keep you laughing and loving life, I’m your guy! Let’s make every day an adventure filled with fun and friendship. I’m Ford, and I can’t wait to meet you! The adoption fee for TX/Ford, who lives in Marble Falls, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Ford  part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Ford. Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.November 11, 2024, 7:20 am

Meet Rusty Lee: Your Freckled, Fabulous Best Friend! Hey there! I’m Rusty Lee, the most handsome boy you’ll ever meet (or so I’m told!). I’m a 1-year-old, neutered, orange and white roan Brittany with adorable freckled legs and a sweet smile that will melt your heart. I’m housebroken, crate trained, and up-to-date on all my vaccines—basically, I’m the total package! I’m full of energy, love, and just the right amount of goofy. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, or just hanging out at home, I’m your guy. Oh, and did I mention my love for car rides? I’ll happily sit in the front seat with you… until I decide to face backward and make you laugh! I’m great with dogs, people, and probably even cats, so I’d fit right into your family. I love giving kisses, being the life of the party, and making sure you never stop smiling. If you’re ready for a companion who’s as sweet as he is silly, I’m the boy for you! Let’s make every day an adventure full of love and laughter. My Wishes: A four-legged playmate, physical fenced in yard, COOKIES, belly rubs, and snuggles in bed and watching tv in your lap. Story
Charlie Jack was previously my mother's dog and I took him in when she passed away. He's incredibly loving, outgoing, and energetic but has bad anxiety and requires a lot of interaction. Sometimes he is defensive towards other animals at first but warms up to them over time. My brother had a Great Pyrenees and they were best friends. Charlie doesn't have any major medical issues but he does have allergies that require he eats grain-free food. I currently have him on prescription food that would need to be continued. Also, he does have some food aggression that I've been working with him to improve. For example, I'm able to hand him treats with an open palm. I'm looking to rehome him because I've realized that I cannot keep up with giving him the attention he deserves. He either needs a much more active family OR at least a companion dog to help him get pent up energy out.

Story
Yogi was rescued off the street about three and a half years ago. He is approximately four years old. Yogi is playful, energetic, enjoys walks, and loves riding in the car, as well as accompanying trips to stores where he becomes the center of attention. He is a wonderful companion, and when he's ready to rest, he is a great cuddler. Yogi gets along wonderfully with people and has never shown any aggression towards people. Unfortunately, he needs re-homing due to recent instances with other dogs in his household. Although rare, it has occurred. We do not believe there is anything malicious in him, but his size makes this a potentially dangerous situation. Therefore, he cannot be placed in a home with other pets. Nevertheless, Yogi is a wonderful dog and would make a great single-pet companion for a person or family. He has had regular vet visits and is up-to-date on all shots. Yogi is smart, and while he has learned basic commands, he is highly trainable and eager to learn.

Story
Please read bio in pictures. This dog is amazingly sweet and just wants to be loved. If I could keep him forever I would. I love him! His hair is thinning on his sides from being stressed about being in the kennels for so long. He desperately wants, needs, and deserves a loving forever home. If you meet him, you will fall in love with him. Great with kids. He been mistreated and neglected for this first part of his life, he deserves to have the last half in a loving home and to know what it feels like to be loved and to have a home.
