Story
Grady was surrendered to a shelter in March of 2024 due to his owner being incarcerated and no one in the family could take him. We didn't know much about him, but it was apparent that he'd had a tough life. I began fostering him in May and fell in love with him instantly. We finally found an adopter in mid-August, but unfortunately due to no fault of his own he was returned after a week. He's been back with me in foster care since then, but since my home has 3 resident cats, it's not been the ideal home for him. He was very stressed during the time he spent in the shelter and we don't think he would do well if returned. Grady is a great dog, and would love to be someone's Netflix buddy aka couch potato. Foster care has allowed us to learn so much about him and his personality now shines. He loves lounging in the sun, rotisserie chicken, and head massages. Grady would love and thrive in a home with adults, older kids, and dogs...just no cats.

Story
You must submit an application to start the process to meet or adopt a dog from this rescue. Oliver came to us at 6 weeks old. His mom had been given away and he and his siblings were sick and emaciated. Oliver actually had pneumonia but after a heart dose of antibiotics he's cleared up and is making up for lost time by playing non-stop. The day he was dropped off he couldn't lift his head and struggled so hard to breathe so it's wonderful to see this baby playing and loving life! Oliver is being posted for pre-adoptiom but was taken from his mom too soon so we'd like to give him another two weeks or so before he goes to a new home. As of right right now he's 7 weeks old. He's eating well and goes to potty almost every time he goes outside so he have our fingers crossed that he will be easier to house train. Feel free to submit an application if you're interested because we know this baby will have people fighting over him. Adoption fee includes sterilization at an appropriate age, microchip, wellness exam and age appropriate vaccines and heartworm/flea prevention as well as fecal testimg. Our adoption fee is $650.00 for this pet. This generally includes age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, a wellness exam, dewormer, fecal, hw and flea preventative that is given while in our care, microchip and sometimes registration depending on the company, as well as any other medications or procedures needed while in our care. Story
My son is starting a new chapter in his life, heading off to Basic Training with the Air Force this December. While it is an exciting and bittersweet time, it comes with some tough decisions. Sadly, we are unable to keep his beloved dog, Ranger, and must find him a new home. 🐾 Meet Ranger Age: 4 years old, Neutered, Siberian Husky Personality: Sweet, affectionate, and loves attention Compatibility: Ranger has been around other dogs, but he may thrive as an only dog or with someone who can give him lots of love. He's been around toddlers but is better suited to a home without small children. He's never bitten anyone! Hobbies: Enjoys walks (still working on leash manners) and knows basic commands! Ideal Home for Ranger Ranger deserves a home where he can get plenty of attention and have a comfortable space. Also, we are living my parents and without a big yard and with our young grandchildren around, we're unable to give Ranger the environment he needs to thrive.
