Story
BITE HISTORY. Mickey has bit me, his dog sitter, and our son (last straw). He has clear boundaries and a rotten temper and should be treated with care and caution when he is stressed out or otherwise feeling defensive. He should never be around children. Mickey is a sweet, excitable, and adventurous Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is easy to train and loves his people. He is an excellent leash walker and he loves to sing at wildlife. Would be a hunter's dream if he could live in a kennel outside of the house AWAY from other dogs or children. He does well with other dogs in all contexts OUTSIDE of the home - inside of the home he has an extreme resource guarding problem. Does VERY well on solo trips as the only dog in the house.

Story
STILL AVAILABLE. Harley is a very intelligent, but hyperactive and anxious German Shepherd/Lab mix. She shows a lot of love to her humans (and is protective of them/ wary of strangers) but unfortunately has a spotty history when it comes to other dogs. She has gotten a long very well with several of my cats, and one other dog, until she began resource guarding and bit him (small puncture wound, not a major bite), I was then forced to move her to an outside lot. She has plenty of room and is well taken care of, but since moving her I have been through a divorce and several other life events, I will soon have other people staying in my home and am currently in school, so I have less and less time to socialize and walk her. I would like to find someone who can give her the one on one time she deserves. Ive never re-homed an animal and it pains me to do so, but I feel it is for the best. Although she is now an outside dog she is still potty trained and knows several commands.

Story
**The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required. We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog. Adoption Application link: https://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html ** Ripley is 1 year old and weighed 35 pounds at his last vet visit. He came to our rescue because his owner couldn't keep him due to her landlord receiving complaints about his barking. So, he probably wouldn't make a great apartment dog unless you are someone who is home a lot. He is all puppy energy, but when he is tired, he is a great cuddler. We were told he is a Min Pin mix, but he is much larger than a Min Pin and is definitely a different mix. We are currently waiting on the results of his DNA test, just for fun! No matter what breed he is, we know that he is 100% good boy! Ripley is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is located in Wise, VA and his adoption fee is $300.

Story
Sookie is a beautiful little pomapoo who was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer keep her. She’s a year old and weighs about 8lbs. Sookie is so cute and a sweetheart. She seeks out and loves attention from her humans. She gets along great with the other small dog in the home. She is doing great with the puppy pad training and is treat motivated. She is a chewer, but loves her chew bones and toys. She will need work on leash-training, so she’d love a fenced in yard/area to go potty. She isn’t fond of car rides though because she does have a tendency to get car sick. Sookie is currently being carted at night with another dog and is doing great with that. For any additional info/questions or to complete an application for little Sookie, please email bettinav@hotmail.com
