Story
Kane is such a laid back gentle giant. All he wants to do is chill, sleep, and repeat. He’s become such a relaxed guy who just likes hanging out. When he first came to rescue in February 2023, he was a bit of a wild child. But since decompressing from shelter life, he has shown that all he wants is to be loved by his people, and to catch some sunshine here and there. Honestly, who can blame him? Kane is fully vetted, meaning he’s already up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and kept on monthly prevention. He is crate and house trained (although he does require a steel crate). And loves absolutely everyone he meets. He would do best in a home with kids over 12, as he is a big, strong boy who doesn’t quite understand how big he is. He’s great with other dogs who are more on the chill side, but does need a home without cats. This boy is a lounger, so a fenced in yard is preferred, but is not a deal breaker. He just likes to lay outside in the sun on the patio. Since being in his foster home, Kane has come SUCH a long way with his training! He now knows sit, paw, watch me, stay, come, and has greatly improved his leash manners. And if this list of commands aren’t enough, he’s INCREDIBLY treat motivated, so teaching him more is a breeze! Interested in making Kane part of your forever family? You can apply to adopt at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt His adoption fee is now completely sponsored ($0 to adopter) thanks to a generous donor!

Story
Hawk is a 2.5-year-old staffie mix that came to us on the day he was set to be euthanized at Memphis Animal Services. This beautiful boy is around 70lbs, but is a short, stout guy! Despite his beefy looks, this boy is an absolute sweetheart. He absolutely loves his canine foster brother, but due to now showing too much playful interest with the resident cat, it has been decided it’s best to find him a home with no kitty friends. He does love all the people he has met, and is an absolute ham! Unfortunately, Hawk is a bit too protective of his adult humans once he bonds to them, and he needs to be in a home with no children. If you are interested in making Hawk part of your forever family, you can apply to adopt at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt. His adoption fee is fully sponsored!

Joel is a 1.5-year-old pitbull mix who is a friendly, happy boy who loves to play hard and relax harder. He is great with kids, and will play the day away in the yard if you let him! He also enjoys taking hikes and nature walks, whatever allows him to be active with his family! Joel loves being with his people in whatever capacity he can. He does great with other dogs his size, but he does need a home with no small dogs or cats at this time. He is crate trained and house trained, and would do great with just about any active person or family! If you’ve been looking for a good walking or running buddy, Joel is your guy! Nibs is a charming dog who has spent his entire life locked inside a kennel. Despite this, he has retained a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoys sunbathing. Now, Nibs is looking for an adopter who can help him experience all the joys life has to offer. This sweet pup is eager to learn and grow with the guidance of a patient owner. He thrives on outdoor adventures and is eager to explore new trails and soak up the sunshine. Nibs has a lot of potential to become the best boy ever with the right person willing to invest time and effort in his training and socialization. Potential adopters should have breed experience and be willing to provide the structure Nibs needs to thrive. He will benefit from clear guidance on what behaviors are appropriate and what is not allowed. If you're someone who loves spending time outdoors and is looking for a loyal companion to share your adventures with, consider giving Nibs a chance. Story
Valhalla is an approximately 3–year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix girl that we thought had found her forever home, but unfortunately has made her way back to us after showing that she would be much better suited to life in an only-dog home. Valhalla is a sweet little goof ball with so much personality! She loves to play with her family, and keeps everyone laughing as she appeases everyone’s need for pets and snuggles. She’s definitely people and attention driven, as she is the biggest people pleaser you will ever meet! Valhalla does need to be the only pet in the home. She has shown that her prey drive is too great to be around little dogs or cats, and she is a bit too jealous of even bigger dogs in her space. She is potty trained and crate trained, but does need a secure fenced in yard in her forever home. Unfortunately, we do not have any open foster homes for Valhalla to come back to, so she is having to make her way track to boarding until a foster or adopter can be found. This can be quite challenging, as only-animal homes are very hard to come by. However, we promise if you take a chance on this girl, she will repay the love ten-fold! If you can open your home to foster this girl, you can apply to foster through the link in our bio! Fostering is FREE, as we take care of all food, vetting, crate, collars, leashes, etc. you could need! You just provide the love and the occasional ride to adoption events. If you think this sweet girl would fit in your forever family, you can apply to adopt at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt Her adoption fee is fully sponsored!
