Story
Hello, my name is Zoey and I am a very sweet and friendly dog with lots of love to give! I am loyal and gentle and I get along with other dogs very well. I love to play and I'm also a curious little thing, but I'm a couch potato at heart and love a good snuggle. I'm smart and funny and love to make my humans happy! I'm young, so I am full of energy and ready for adventures, but I also know how to calm down and be a good girl. If you're looking for a furry friend who is fun and affectionate, look no further! I'm quiet and I only bark if strangers approach the house. I'm Zoey, and I'm ready to meet you, so please complete an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/SaveOneSoul/SaveOneSoulAdoptionApplication Our adoption fee is only $180.00

Story
Dubby is a special dog with a lot of love to give. He is friendly, affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, funny, and athletic - to name a few of his shining characteristics! He is a very loving dog who adores kisses and giving kisses. Dubby would be the perfect fit for a family with older children (13+), or just adults living in the home. Dubby loves to play with other dogs, and an old injury is not holding him back in any way. If you believe you could be the right family for this sweet boy, please complete an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/SaveOneSoul/SaveOneSoulAdoptionApplication , so that you can meet him. He can't wait to meet you and shower you with kisses!

Story
Harley is a loving dog, we have had him since he was a puppy. He is good with our kids, and our 2 cats. He is super friendly with all the neighbors, has never bite anyone, he play bites. But we live in an apartment and he needs a bigger place that has a yard where he can roam and have mote play room. Definitely would be great on a farm, he has the red heeler in him so he would be great at herding animals. Its in his blood. He loves to chase after squirrels.

*****IF INTERESTED EMAIL derbycitydogrescue@gmail.com*****Hello, good people! My name is Niko and I am a hunka, hunka, burning love looking for that special someone/family to call my own!I'm roundabout 11 yrs old and as you can see from my pics, I'm a pretty handsome fella and a bit of a ladies man. I really love to snuggle up with you and give out some kisses.I also love a good run around the yard and to play with my ropes, old footballs, and really any kind of fun with tough toys! Now I do like to be the king of my castle, so that I can be the center of your attention and not have to share my toys or love with other animals. I might be able to tolerate a laid back kind of girl, but I'd need some introductions first to be sure.I really like to please my people so learning new tricks and commands is always a fun time for me. I've learned several over the years including sit, stay, paw, and down but I might need a bit of a refresher. I'm a pretty strong guy so a nice harness is a good idea for walks (WHICH I LOVE!).Niko is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200. To apply to adopt Niko, complete our application at www.derbycitydogrescue.org/adoption-application.html

*****IF INTERESTED EMAIL derbycitydogrescue@gmail.com*****What's up party people? Cheeto's the name and fun is my game! The folks round here call me Big Happy because I'm never without my smile and just love EVERYTHING! (well except those other furries, but more on that later).I'm about 10 yrs old and have been through a lot in my life. I've lived on the streets and had some lean times before a nice lady found me and helped me get where I am today.I'm a super fun chick with a love for car rides, walks in the park, and TREATS. Some say I like treats a bit too much, but is there such a thing?I really like to meet new people and make people friends really easily. I even like the small peoples. I'm not too much on the furry friends though - I like to the one getting all the love. So, do you know anyone that is looking for a little slice of heaven like me?Cheeto is house trained, is up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.To apply for Cheeto, complete our application at www.derbycitydogrescue.org/adoption-application.html

Story
Persimmon is looking for an adoptive home who is willing to work with her on becoming a respectable member of dog society!Persimmon came to us in very bad shape, with almost no fear and sores all over her body from demodex likely caused by extreme neglect. She was very ill for a long period of time but has almost completely recovered, with some occasional skin flareups. Persimmon is, as far as we can tell, about 3 years old, and seems to be some kind of pit/boxer mix. She’s crate trained, has a solid sit, and some basic leash skills (that at this point aren’t solid when there are any distractions). She is dog and cat reactive, but will move past quiet animals with consistent reinforcement/distraction. She needs to be crated away from other animals. We do believe that with slow introductions, positive training, and patience, she may be able to interact appropriately with other dogs. She is an incredibly happy dog who will play for long periods of time, whether she’s on her own or not. She’s excited about learning new things (and good at it), but has a harder time adjusting in environments where there’s too much going on.Persimmon is, at her core, a super sweet, funny, and playful dog with a terrific personality and will light up any room she is in.If you would be interested in adopting Persimmon, complete our application at www.derbycitydogrescue.org/adoption-application.html
