Smiley is an XL Bully who came to us last fall when she was found as a stray after clearly being used as a breeding dog for several years. Smiley had a low grade Mast Cell Tumor removed from her hind leg. Thankfully, the pathology report of the follow-up surgery showed that the tumor was removed in its entirety, and she is expected to have a normal life span. Smiley is your typical happy-go-lucky Bully. Smiley has recently shown a dislike of crates, and we have gotten her a special crate, which will come with her as part of the adoption process. Smiley is in a foster home with many other dogs and does well with them. She loves attention, and she wears herself out by chewing on a Kong Wubba. Smiley is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her shots, and her adoption fee is only $180.00 Smiley is looking for a home, where she will be loved. Adopters must understand the breed. Due to her size, she is not a good fit for a home with small children. XL Bullies are highly sought after breeds, and we will be very selective when it comes to her placement. (Last revised 3/13) I'm looking to rehome our 1-year-old male purebred Havanese located in Shepherdsville, 20min south of Louisville. -housebroken, LOVES his crate, leash trained -neutered and UTD on shots and heartworm -kid friendly, but probably best for a home with older children (6+), who can read his stress cues -goofy and quirky (likes to eat grass like a goat! 🙃🐐) -stressed and nervous due to being undersocialized during his first year of life -I think he'd do well in a home with another doggie friend to show him the world isn't a scary place. -He's in need of someone patient who is willing to provide him with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement to help him build confidence. He responds well to love and routine, and he is an excellent companion for someone who can offer him the time and care he needs. Vance is a Golden/Pyrenees mix and he is just a beautiful boy who desperately needs a dog-savvy and experienced foster home!! He will curl up on your lap and jump on your bed if you let him. He loves 'his people', which right now is the kennel staff and volunteers. You won't have to worry about squirrels or chipmunks in your yard as he'll chase them off for sure! He definitely needs a dog experienced, adult household, with no kids under 18, and an above ground fenced yard (no apartments or condo type home). Vance is not a real social dog as he likes to be at home with his people! Can anyone take this sweet boy out of the kennel? Any family who is interested in Vance, and has been approved to meet him, MUST still be approved by his trainer. He likes smaller dogs but he is not wild about larger dogs and no cats. This sweet boy likes walks around the park and walks fine on leash. While he was out and about at the kennel, he wanted lots of loving in the office!!! And...
