Story
Sky along with her 6 babies were surrendered to us by their current owner. Sky did not get along with the other dogs in the home which we discovered was her just trying to protect her babies. Sky has a history of being abused by small children while being locked in a crate and will need an adult only home. Sky does paw for attention and we are working on that with her. She is a sweet, loving girl who just wants a loving home to call her own. She’s UTD on shots, spayed, dewormed, has been treated for fleas and microchipped. She’s housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, loves to be outside.

Story
Hello! my name is Black Jack. I am a 18 week old bully mix. I weigh a whopping 33 lbs. now. I’m cute, cuddly, and somewhat of a lazy guy. I love toys and treats. I’m doing exceptional at my potty training and prefer to go outside but will go on my potty pads if I’m inside. I do great with all other dogs, cats, and people. I’m a rolly polly happy puppy. I enjoy playing in my baby pool. Some of my best traits are my cute little wiggle butt, the way I play with my siblings and all my foster siblings, and cuddle time of course. I have an A + in the cuddle department. I come up to date on all my vaccinations, microchipped , neutered and on preventatives. I'm being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. If interested in adopting, please reach out to Kelly (317.407.8912). Thank you!

Story
Hi! I’m Joey! I had a rough coming into rescue (I had pneumonia really badly) but I am A ok now. I’m 18 weeks old and 28 lbs. I’m playful, happy, and smart. I’m slow to warm up but once I warm up, I’m a totally different guy. I trust my foster 4 legged siblings and I like to be close to them, so I’d prefer to have a fur sibling. I’m gentle, kind, and I love to be held. I enjoy playing in my baby pool. I love treats and toys. I love cats too. I prefer to go potty outside but I will go on potty pads. I come up to date on all my vaccinations, microchipped , neutered and on preventatives. I'm being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. If interested in adopting, please reach out to Kelly (317.407.8912). Story
Mickey is 6 years old, we got him when he was a puppy and has been a great dog for us. Unfortunately, I have dealt with allergies to Mickey and our other dog as well since the beginning and have lived on allergy meds. However now, our youngest son is dealing with the same issues and it is no longer manageable. We call him Mickey because he is white with a black Mickey Mouse ears on his side. He is a lover, who's favorite thing is to cuddle. He unfortunately is a little bit overweight currently but we recently switched him to weight management food from Costco. Part of his weight gain is the lack of activity due to all the allergies we have dealt with specifically the last year, that aside he is an awesome dog who once acclimated will provide a ton of love to any family. He is also great with kids both ours and neighborhood children. We are not charging any fee for the adoption, we just want Mickey to go to a great home.

Story
Chip is a young adult terrier mix, that has found himself in need of a new home. You see, he came to SPCHS when he was just a pup, was adopted quickly. Now, a little over 2 and a half years later, his adopters are both working, he's stuck in a their backyard 10-12 hours each workday and his pet parents don't feel that's fair to him. The reason he is stuck outside is because he's decided that it's fun to terrorize the family's cats when no one is looking, so he can not be left alone in the house with them. He also learned how to scale their 6-foot privacy fence -- they've been able to eliminate his escapes by installing an invisible fence wire at the top of their privacy fence. This keeps him contained, but with it getting colder outside -- well it's not the best for him, and he's definitely lonely! The good news is that he can be left alone in the house IF THERE ARE NO CATS. He doesn't destroy woodwork or furniture, and is a perfect gentleman. Chip is a little under 3 years old, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on shots. He is high energy when outdoors, but inside is pretty relaxed. Chip is great around children -- however, he not good with kids under 12, as he has been known to nip at them. He's very athletic and would do well with an active family in which someone will be home most of the time to supervise and play with him when he's outdoors. He is also a big time snuggler who wants to be as close to you as he can be -- ALL THE TIME. He’s very sweet and sensitive, and he’s definitely at his best when he has someone he loves with him. Let him sit with you on the couch or bed and he’s in heaven. He’s good on a leash and is crate trained. Chip needs his time outside and loves to run and play with other dogs, toys and best of all - interactive play with humans. Chip is very smart, sweet, affectionate, well behaved, fun, and happy boy. He loves to be involved in anything that we are doing. His happy place is sitting right beside you. He loves outdoor activities and being able to run full speed. He’s just a great dog -- he's not a barker or whiner.
