Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. From Glitter: What I am looking for in my perfect home. Someone who LOVES water as much as I do. I love to swim in my fosters small pool Someone who is active and wants to take me on walks or play around in the backyard. Someone who will let me join them on car rides as I do really well on them. I lived outside most of my life but that is not the life I prefer; I enjoy being around my people. I LOVE to give hugs! I do well with other dogs after I have been introduced to them, I do tend to bark at them if I cannot meet them. However I do not want to share my food with other dogs. I am used to eating on my own. I do tend to mark my territory in new places but once I have settled, I stop doing this but may want to keep an eye on me when you first take me home. I really am a great dog if you would take a chance on me. I would not do well around small animals as they look like fun toys. Cats are okay but if they run, I will chase them so would be better in a home without cats for safety reasons. If you made it this far, I have one last thing to say, I ENJOY running so a fenced in back yard or a leash is a must while I am outside. I enjoy the chase and it feels like a fun game, but I don’t want to get lost.   Estimated DOB: 7/2/2018 Adoption fee- $  25 ( I have been sponsored!)       (includes 6% State Sales Tax)         Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility. Please call our Adoption Center to schedule a meet and greet: 502 863-3279. Story
Rich is a super friendly, easy-going guy who we believe to be about 3 years old. He loves all types of toys, but chew toys are definitely his favorite! Rich enjoys sunbathing and to his foster mom's dismay, rolling in dirt. He's out of the destructive puppy phase and great on walks - no pulling or tugging! Rich is crate trained and doesnt have accidents in the house. Rich is currently fostered with one other male dog and has done well with most other dogs at events and meets. He can easily be tested with cats, upon request. Additionally, we know Rich does well with kids. Rich has started professional dog training while in foster care, and his adopters will have the opportunity to continue his training to set him up for success. Rich has completed his vet care and is ready to go to his forever home as soon as he finds his humans! His adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED ($0). If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period.   Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Bandit is a mini tricolor smooth coat dachshund with ticking. He came to the rescue with five other mini dachshunds after his elderly owner died. He is a really sweet boy but tends to be a little skittish. He needs a person with patience and time to gain his trust and would do well with another dog to follow. Our rescue organization adopts within the following states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. A fully fenced yard is required to be considered for adoption (no underground fencing). Please visit our website to learn about our adoption process and complete an application at: https://www.kentuckydachshundrescue.com/adoption-process

Galley is a handsome guy who is estimated to be about 5 years old and weighs 70 pounds. Hes extremely food motivated and learns quickly. Galley is curious and independent, but enjoys company. Galley is friendly with humans (including kids) and is well mannered. He gets along well with medium-large dogs and has made some friends while living in boarding, but he cannot live with small dogs or cats (indoor or outdoor). If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! Galley also needs a foster home to get him out of boarding.
