Story
Jessie is a very friendly lab and will make someone a wonderful pet. Unfortunately she likes to greet the UPS and FedEx trucks when they make deliveries. She lost her right rear leg while running around one of the trucks. However, this hasn't slowed her down at all and she's just as active as ever. Due to our business, we have a lot of traffic and we fear she will be hit again. Jessie is trained to a perimeter collar, but we cannot restrict it enough to keep her out of the driveway. That is the reason we are wanting to find her a loving home where she will be safe.

While he does not get along with other dogs or cats, he appears to interact well with older children and teenagers who respect his boundaries. If you are considering Joey as a potential pet, we invite you to visit the shelter and spend some time getting to know him. Joey does know how to sit and walks good on the leash. He has a lot of energy to play, and he can jump pretty high which could make him a fun dog to play frisbee with. That is of course he brings it back. Overall, Joey would be a great companion for anyone that can devote the time and love he deserves.

He seems to be okay with older aged kids, but his behavior with younger kids is uncertain. Camo requires a forever home where he can receive the love, care, and training he needs, preferably with a family experienced with his breed or dog training knowledge. Camo does not get along with other dogs, cats, or small animals. If you're interested in Camo, please feel free to contact us with questions regarding him or come visit us during shelters open hours.
