Story
We are currently looking to rehome this beautiful sweet boy! He’s about 2 and a half and still has the energy to match! His best fit would be a VERY active family or somebody with some outside area that doesn’t mind working with him a little bit. He just needs daily playful interactions to be happy! He would adore children. He is an inside dog, but he does need a fenced in backyard or somewhere to run where he can be watched until he’s used to his new home. He cannot stand to be kenneled and this will cause him anxiety. No kennels. He can spend time alone in the house during the day as long as he gets a couple of potty breaks. He is very very good about not chewing on furniture and items in the house. Absolutely loves puzzle toys. He’s a very smart boy, loves attention, and is good around kids! He can roll over on command, shake, and lie down. He is currently up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered.

Story
I have been caring for Fleetwood since November of 2024. He is one year and 8 months old. I have had to move from my residence and my current situation does not allow me to keep him. He is a very sweet and well behaved dog. He is housebroken as well. I would like to find a forever family that has room for him to run and play.

Story
We adopted Boog from WAAL June of 2023. He was 6 months old and they had very little history on him. He is now 2 yrs old. Boog is an extremely sweet dog and just wants to be by your side at all times. He does great outside of the fenced yard as he has very good recall. He needs to go to a home that has another dog. He will not do well as a single dog. We are rehoming him because my husband and I travel a lot (at least every couple of months). And while my 2 other dogs do fine going to the kennel, Boog has a hard time with it. He does fine once at the kennel, it's the lead up that causes him much anxiety. We feel he would do better with someone who travels less. He does fine with our grandchildren but he will match their energy which causes him to occasionally knock them over. He would do great with older children.

Story
Meet Rufus! Age: 2 years, 9 months Breed: Pit Bull/Shar Pei Mix Size: Medium Rufus is a one-of-a-kind pup with a unique and endearing look that’s as special as his story. After being rescued, Rufus underwent surgery at a previous shelter to close his cleft palate. While his lip didn’t fully heal (purely cosmetic), his palate is now fully closed, and he’s all healed up and ready to find his forever home! His distinctive features make him even more special, and his heart is just as unique. Personality: Rufus is a big lover who thrives on cuddles, playtime, and outdoor adventures. When it comes to meeting new dogs, Rufus can be a bit standoffish. He’s picky about who he wants to be friends with and may need some time to warm up to other canines. But once he finds a dog he likes, he’s all in! Rufus is also highly food-motivated and loves to ask for treats from everyone he meets. Ideal Home: Rufus would do best in a home where he can get plenty of love, attention, and patience. His perfect family will understand that he may need time to warm up to other dogs, but with the right introductions, he’s sure to thrive. He’s looking for a calm, supportive home where he can feel safe and loved. Health: Rufus has had surgery to close his cleft palate, and while his lip didn’t fully heal, that’s purely cosmetic. His palate is now fully closed, and he’s doing great! He’s a healthy, happy boy ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who appreciates his one-of-a-kind charm. If you’re ready to welcome a lovable, food-loving, and snuggly companion with a unique look that makes him even more special, Rufus is waiting to meet you! ?
