Story
Kona was rescued when she was 3-4 and we’ve had her for 4 years. We have worked with a couple different trainers to help her not be dog reactive. We have had several issues lately between her and our other female pit bull, Piper, and need to rehome Kona before one of them seriously hurts the other one. Kona is very smart, well trained and knows all the usual commands. She is a great dog on her own but struggles around other dogs. This is heartbreaking for us because she’s so funny and playful and loving but we can’t risk her and Piper hurting each other anymore.

Story
Cookie is around 10 years old and was adopted from KCK humane society. She is a very laid-back girl who has had a tough life. My father adopted her when she was 10 years old and she has been a great companion on those lazy days. However, Cookie likes to be the only dog and has been known to get into altercations with fellow dogs. She has no history of being aggressive towards humans. She loves sunbathing and spending her days lounging. Unfortunately, she needs to be rehomed however my father had an expected surgery and is unable to care for her. She deserves a great home with humans who will treat her like the princess she is.

Story
This is our beautiful girl Bingo. She's a sweetheart and loves everyone. She's very active and while she does occasionally chase our cats she does not harm them. Bingo has never bitten anyone, human, dog, cat or otherwise. If an active, VERY fast runner is the dog for you, please help us! We are moving out of the country soon and cannot take her with us. Our hearts are broken but we want to ensure she goes to a very loving home. Kids would be great with her because she loves to play.

Story
This is our beautiful bull mix Nori. She's only been with us for a short time, but a sudden move out of the country means we have to part ways with her. She's a sweet soul of a dog. She loves everyone and constantly has a huge grin on her face. She gets along well with our dogs and cats, and although she has never been around children I'm sure she'd love them. She's very active and loves to play. If you have VERY small kids (under three) I would caution that Nori is a very strong dog and may accidentally knock them down. She sometimes doesn't know her own strength. Housebreaking is a work in progress. She has gotten better since we got her, but occasionally still has accidents. I'm sure given a few weeks' work she can be successfully, completely housebroken. Loyal to a fault and is very much a velcro dog. She loves attention and will give you unconditional love in return. Please help us find her a home. It's breaking our hearts to let her go, but we have no choice.

Story
I adopted Hudson from Kc Ks animal control. I have had him for about 17 months. I did hire a trainer and it helped some .He is a big cuddle bug and wants to be with me or on me all the time.He loves his treats and dinner time. He lets me bath him, trim his nails, clean his ears, brush his teeth. He does great at the vet for all his pokes. He is is a gentle giant. Taking him outside is another story. He is very reactive with dogs, squirrels, rabbits. I live in an apartment and it is very unpredictable with running in to dogs etc. It is not a safe environment for him and I fear of getting hurt or something worse happening. Hudson needs a home with a yard and no other pets. He needs to be able to run and get exercise . I have spoiled him beyond belief but I am not able to safely care for him outside of my apartment anymore. This is one of the hardest decisions but I know it is what best for me and him. Hudson has had training can sit, lay down go to kennel, shake. He is very smart!
