Story
I have to rehome my Foxhound Mix. He is approximately 60lbs and fully grown. Now 2 years old. He is a sweet boy who loves to run. He does great with kids, and cats and loves other dogs. Unfortunately, I am selling my house next month and need to find him a home ASAP. I cannot take him where I am going as they only allow 1 dog. My other dog is 12 years old and would be put to sleep if she were to be put up for adoption. He is house-trained, crate-trained, up-to-date on all shots, and neutered. Please be kind as this is already hard enough. Selling my home was not part of my plan but I can no longer afford it.

Story
Kona was rescued when she was 3-4 and we’ve had her for 4 years. We have worked with a couple different trainers to help her not be dog reactive. We have had several issues lately between her and our other female pit bull, Piper, and need to rehome Kona before one of them seriously hurts the other one. Kona is very smart, well trained and knows all the usual commands. She is a great dog on her own but struggles around other dogs. This is heartbreaking for us because she’s so funny and playful and loving but we can’t risk her and Piper hurting each other anymore.

Story
Cookie is around 10 years old and was adopted from KCK humane society. She is a very laid-back girl who has had a tough life. My father adopted her when she was 10 years old and she has been a great companion on those lazy days. However, Cookie likes to be the only dog and has been known to get into altercations with fellow dogs. She has no history of being aggressive towards humans. She loves sunbathing and spending her days lounging. Unfortunately, she needs to be rehomed however my father had an expected surgery and is unable to care for her. She deserves a great home with humans who will treat her like the princess she is.

Story
We acquired Phoebe as a puppy from someone online, in 2019. She is 5 years old. She is a sweet girl who LOVES attention. She sometimes thinks she is a lap dog, but don’t worry, she is not an overwhelming dog. When you need your space, she follows gentle orders and will leave you alone. She is fantastic around kids, as we have littles of our own. She is an all around great dog and we will miss her dearly. We are looking for a home that has a yard and space she can go outside and do her own thing. Plus, someone who can give her love and attention. We moved (job relocation) to a small apartment and she no longer has those privileges. Last thing, we would like for her to be rehoused with our Labradoodle, Cece, if possible. They have been around each other for 4 years and love each other. I will make a separate page for Cece as well.

Story
We acquired Cece from a family friend, around 2021. Cece is 4 years old. Cece is a great dog who LOVES attention. She wants to be loved by anyone and everyone. She loves to play with kids and is gentle. She even does a great job of listening to commands when directed. We will miss her greatly. We moved (job relocation) to an apartment and she no longer has the privileges of going outside whenever she wants to. We want someone who is going to shower her with love and have space for her to roam around as she pleases. Lastly, we would like for her to be rehoused with our other dog, Phoebe, if possible. These two have grown up together and Cece loves Phoebe. We like to think of Phoebe as the older sister!
