Hi! My name is Chocolate Chip Brownie, but I go by Chip! My birthday is May 23, 2024, so I am still a young pup. I currently live in a home with 3 kids and a German shepherd- I play all day long! I have never shown any aggression. I’ve been around kids of all ages - from newborn to teenager. My current family rescued me as a small puppy from a bad place. Unfortunately, they have not had the chance to teach me very many tricks, but I do know to potty outside and I will sit for treats. I am not leash trained, but I think I could pick it up pretty quickly. I LOVE car rides and getting pup cups from my favorite place, Starbucks. I am also crate trained for bedtime. I’d love to join your family!

Story
Hello this is Milo. I have had him for almost a year now, I got him from a friend that had him for 2 years but her daughter and herself became allergic to him so he was in a cage a lot. He is a good dog just very much on the hyper side and needs a lot of attention. I believe he is around 3/4 years old, still has a lot of puppy energy left in him. I am looking for him to go to a home where he can get the proper attention he needs and somewhere he can get plenty of exercise. I have a small westie that he plays and gets along with fairly well but with him being bigger the play gets rough sometimes. He loves kids but doesn’t realize his own size and will push through kids and people knocking them down. Like previously stated he is a good dog just needs a home with a lot of attention and lots of love. We have tried helping with this being so hyper and jumping, but we are not able to given him the training and services he could benefit from.

Pookie is an extremely high energy dog with so much potential. She loves being outside but gets anxious when she can't see you. Pookie is an incredibly sweet dog and loves to give tons of kisses and be right on your lap when she is relaxed. She loves car rides and loves to bask in the sun. She is a super chewer and can tear up nearly any toy within minutes. Pookie really needs someone with an active lifestyle. A new owner would need patience to train her due to her energy level and excitement. She is okay with other dogs but would do best in a single dog home with no small children, at least until you feel that she has been trained and mindful. As much as we love this sweet girl we feel that she would do best with someone who has more time to dedicate to her without small children.

Meet Fisker! This boy is such a doll! Fisker is a 2 1/2 year old mixed breed. The shelter thinks he may have some boxer in him.Fisker is about 50 lbs and considered a med/large size. He’s been at the shelter since July and I have no idea why because he is SO MUCH FUN!He is smart, active, fun and wild!! But he knows how to listen well, knows how to sit, shake, and lay down on command already! He is very treat motivated and just a delightful fella to be around. His joy is contagious! He is also good on a leash. Fisker arrived as a stray so kids must be 8+. He does enjoy female dogs his own size so he should be fine with other dogs in the home. I would say no cats because he is super excited and strong even though he thinks he’s a lapdog sometimes. If you’d like to meet this wonderful boy he is at Kokomo Humane Society in Kokomo Indiana waiting for you!
