Story
I adopted Daisy in February 2023. She was staying with a foster. There were other dogs there. The foster mentioned she didn’t interact with them much. I guess she thought that was due to her being a rescue. It was a very important question as we had smaller old dogs at home and with extended family members. The foster did take her to a local pet sitting facility. EVERY human loves Daisy and I haven’t met one she doesn’t like. She is not a great fan of other dogs. We have tried everything but she will not acclimate to our family animals. She also has separation anxiety. We have followed the vet’s instructions, tried all sort of things on the market and yet nothing has worked. I work full time so I have no choice but to board her when I have to be away from her. She great when you are with her. Laid back, not playful nor food driven. She has had some training. She ignores come. She is big and strong so she need a person who can manage her.

Story
**CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE. Please contact the shelter in order to set up a meet and greet** Ginger is as sweet as can be! Giving kisses and cuddling are her favorite hobbies. She is potty trained and does well on leash during walks. She is crate trained and does really well if she has something to chew on during her time in the crate. She loves to destroy stuffed toys, so she needs supervision while she has them. She is treat motivated and knows how to sit on command. She does really well with our male dog in the home and was able to warm up quickly to him and other dogs. She loves to cuddle up with blankets and curls up in "donut mode when she is chilly. She is cautious and friendly with other people. She gets a case of the wiggles and the tippy taps when she's really excited and it's the cutest thing! She really is so sweet and happy! She is ready to find her forever home!

Story
Hey there! I'm Colson, a 3-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I came from animal control, but don't let that fool you-I'm ready to leave my past behind and find a forever home where I can show off just how sweet and snuggly I am. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, I'm your guy! I'm all about getting out and about. I recently went for a 2-mile run around the park, and even though I have high energy, I still managed to follow commands. I'm easy to walk, and car rides? I love them! I did great on a trip downtown, where I made new friends and grabbed some "coffee" at Joe Blowski's. I can get playful and chase after other dogs from time to time, but it's all in good fun-no fear here, just pure excitement. I may not know any fancy tricks yet, but I'm eager to learn. I just need someone who's ready to work with me using positive reinforcement, maybe with some treats or cuddles as motivation! Whether we're hitting the trails, meeting new people, or just hanging out on the couch, I'll be right there by your side, loving every moment. Could you be the one I'm looking for? Let's find out!

Story
Hello! My name is Spruce. I'm a gentle soul with a heart of gold. I'm 4 years old. I have a whole lot of love to give. And everyone I meet comments on how handsome I am! When I go to my buddy's home, I'm a perfect gentleman. I don't jump on people, I give gentle kisses, and I like to play with toys. I'm learning that things aren't as scary as they may seem, like getting into a car. At first, I just couldn't do it, but now I jump right in. In the car, I sit or lie quietly in the back seat and play with my toys, and I may even snooze if we've had a busy day. One of my favorite activities is going to get a pup cup from Starbucks after a long walk. I am heartworm positive--treatment is handled by VHS once I find my forever home. I'm a happy pup ready for all sorts of adventures!

Story
Hey there, I'm Dennis, lovingly nicknamed "the menace" due to my goofy nature. I'm ready to tell you a little bit about myself. My walker has described me as having high energy, which means I'm always up for a good time! The more I've been in the shelter the more I've settled into my routine and have gone to more of a medium energy, especially when that first bit of excitement is done and over with. While I'm a shy guy in my kennel, out of it I'm playful, sweet, and am all about being social! I love treats an they are the best way to get me to focus when I get a little distracted. Speaking of being distracted, I absolutely love meeting new canine friends and can't wait to say hello. I tend to be pretty passive and let the other dogs take the lead when I first meet them, and if they are up for a good play session I'm all in!Oh, and did I mention I have a thing for sticks? There's just something about them that I find irresistible - they're the perfect toy for a pup like me. Overall, I'm just a happy-go-lucky boy looking for a family to call my own. If you're looking for a furry friend who's full of energy and always up for an adventure, then look no further - I'm Dennis, and I can't wait to become your loyal companion. Let's make some memories together - I promise, you won't regret it!
