Story
We adopted Dash over the summer. He is sweet, smart, and loves to cuddle. He is not getting along with our cat. We were told he had protective tendencies with his previous owner. We have not seen this as an issue here. He loves going on walks, spending time visiting the neighborhood kiddos, and is fully vaccinated. He has had some training and does great at the groomers. We would love to have kept him.

Story
Miracle Margo, our longest resident, had moved to a new foster home and was acting as if she could get along with some dogs. She was (and still is) a sunbather that was co-existing with chill dogs but a JEALOUS streak reared its ugly head when attention was being given out. So she packed her belongings and is back in her original foster home with not as many perks and privileges. She enjoyed the puppies at the temp foster too, as her foster mothering skills were in full bloom. This 3-4 yr old girl just needs a family of her own and to be the center of attention, as in no other pets. She wants to be your companion, sunbathe, get belly rubs, and to play tug. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is fostered in Roachdale. Contact Terry to meet this doll 317-946-1316 The one photo shows how far she has come as she was pulled from a shelter after being found as an emaciated stray. She had to have intestinal surgery to clear debris out of her GI due to her rummaging through trash to survive, thus it was a Miracle that she pulled through in her dire condition. Now she needs the perfect family to cherish her and keep her safe.

Story
Sheba is an affectionate 4-year-old German Shepherd (and possibly Husky) mix who's happiest hanging out wherever her people are. She loves being active, whether it's going for walks/hiking, playing fetch or running around in the backyard. Curious and intelligent, Sheba is a fast learner and eager to please. This girl has many great years ahead of her and will be a loving, loyal companion for her adopter. Sheba does need to be the only fur-child in her forever home. 😊 She is fully potty trained and crate trained. Sheba is fostered in Roachdale, IN and her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in meeting this awesome girl, contact Terry at 317-946-1316

Border Collie Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Carman is a dainty border collie mix, approximately 8 years old, that loves to cuddle and be a couch potato with her family. She is an affectionate gal once she gets to know you. In her case, patience makes the heart grow fonder as she apparently has some emotional scarring from her younger years. She is timid when meeting new people and prefers women over men. Once she does bond to her family, she is also extremely protective in regards to other dogs. She needs to be the ONLY pet, no exceptions. For this reason, we highly recommend a fenced yard for exercise as a means of preventing dog to dog interactions that frequently happens on walks. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is fostered in Danville, IN. You may contact her foster Kathy at 317-902-1018 to meet this cutie.

Story
Macy is guessed to be 7 years old, 35 lbs and the most affectionate dog in the universe. She was found as a stray and appeared to have been in some scuffles while on the street. She loves every person she meets but wants to be the queen of her castle and not share affection with any other pets in the home. She is a cuddler and enjoys curling up in your lap. She is also very helpful around the house when it comes to helping with the yard. She enjoys running and doing zoomies so she really needs a fenced yard to be the best she can be and stay safe! She is fostered Roachdale and ready to go! You can meet her by texting 317-946-1316. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is fully vetted.

Story
Duke is estimated to be about a year old and is believed to have been dumped in Indianapolis in late 2022 before being found in early 2023. Duke is the sweetest dog and is always ready to party! He can be a little nervous at first but warms up very quickly. He wants so badly to be a good boy for you and your best friend! He is super affectionate and loves giving kisses. He does jump and is VERY energetic, so he will need some training to be around smaller kids but does well with them temperament wise. He loves cats (a little too much) and adores other dogs but does tend to play a little rough. Duke’s adoption fee is $250.00.
