Story
We rescued Harley in June 2022. She had just had a litter of 14 puppies and the current owner could no longer take care of her. We were told she was 3 years old at that time, so she is estimated to be around 5 now. Due to our current life circumstances, we are unable to give Harley the love and attention she needs. She is pretty low maintenance and will lounge around all day. She is a huge cuddle bug who thinks she's a lap dog, which can be funny considering she is 70 pounds. Excellent guard dog as well. She has been spayed and chipped. She is great with kids and cats. We have 2 other dogs, one female (Mocha, who we are also re-homing) and one male. She does not seem to like male dogs. We would love for Mocha and Harley to be adopted together since they have bonded closely over the past 2.5 years. However, we understand this may not be possible. They can be pretty rambunctious at times so they will need a home with someone who has time to exercise them, take them on walks, etc.

Story
We rescued Mocha in July 2021. She was estimated to be around 6-7 months old at the time so she is around 3-3.5 years old. Due to our current life circumstances, we are unable to give Mocha the love and attention she needs. We had her professionally trained so she listens well. She loves to play and is very energetic. She is also extremely sweet and innocent. She has been spayed and chipped. She is great with kids, other dogs, and cats. We have 2 other dogs, one female (Harley, who we are also re-homing) and one male. She gets along great with both. We would love for Mocha and Harley to be adopted together since they have bonded closely over the past 2.5 years. However, we understand this may not be possible. They can be pretty rambunctious at times so they will need a home with someone who has time to exercise them, take them on walks, etc.

Story
Update - Waylon spent the day in Nashville, visiting shops and meeting new people. He was perfect! He was curious but not rambunctious while in the shops. Waylon met new people politely, enjoying pets but not overly enthusiastically! He was calm when seeing other dogs in town. Simply a perfect dog to take out on the town! If you are looking for a dog that will enjoy outings with you, come meet Waylon. He is a gem! We love Waylon and think you will too! He is as fun-loving as they come. Waylon adores outdoor adventures, especially splashing in creeks during walks, turning even the simplest outing into a joyful exploration. His playful spirit shines brightest when he's jumping high in the air to catch balls, a sight that never fails to bring smiles and laughter. For a chunky guy, he's very athletic! One of Waylon's favorite pastimes is learning new tricks, especially when there are treats involved-he's always eager to show off his latest skills with a wagging tail and a big grin. He will be a fun dog to teach new tricks to. After a little exercise, Waylon is ready to settle in for some lovin'. He is very sweet and affectionate with his human friends, leaning in close for pets and sharing kisses. His previous owners stated that Waylon loves car rides and is house trained. Waylon has made several doggy friends at the shelter. He loves to chase and be chased. He has mastered a terrific spin move and does somersaults to keep his playmates guessing! Such a fun boy! Waylon's goofy charm and zest for life make every moment with him an adventure waiting to happen. Waylon is ready to bring laughter and love into your home. Story
Who knew - we have an actual Greek god at the shelter!! Meet Zeus, just like the Greek god known for his power and enthusiasm, Zeus brings boundless energy to everything he does. His favorite pastime? Playing with squeaky toys-especially his beloved Kong Wubba. He has such fun tossing and pouncing on it so it will make crazy squeaky noises! You can't help but laugh at his antics! This playful pup chases after balls with gusto, and when it's time for belly rubs, he rolls over and clings to his toy, all while sporting a big grin. Zeus is a master of affection, too. When he seeks attention, he'll nudge his big head into your lap, leaning in for pets that are hard to resist-just be prepared for his excitement to bowl you over! He's also eager to learn new tricks, especially when tasty treats are involved. With a heart full of love and a tail that wags like a whirlwind, Zeus is ready to find his forever home. Story
It's been so rewarding to watch Benny transform from shy guy to goofy guy! Initially lacking confidence, Benny would belly crawl toward new friends, showing his desire for connection while still feeling a bit hesitant. Now, he approaches his friends with a joyful wag of his tail, ready to share his delightful personality! Benny adores affection-ear rubs and belly scratches are his favorites. Though he might be a bit big for lap-sitting, he loves to curl up with you, offering kisses and companionship. He's also learning to embrace playtime, both with toys and other dogs, but his true passion lies in forming bonds with people. This sweet boy walks nicely on a leash and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved. His willingness to learn makes him a perfect companion for those looking for a loyal friend. Benny's journey from shy to silly is a heartwarming testament to his resilience. He's ready to find a loving home where he can continue to thrive and share his affectionate spirit. If you're searching for a furry friend who will warm your heart and brighten your days, Benny is the one for you! Come meet him and discover the joy of having this lovable boy in your life.
