Story
Maverick is a super sweet boy! He was rescued from the streets of Indianapolis. I have had him for about 3 years now. He loves to play with balls and run around the dog park (by himself)! He also loves cheese and peanut butter! He is estimated to be around 3-4 years old. I would love for him to be homed to a family that can give him the attention that he needs/deserves, along with train him properly. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, paw, lay down) when he’s inside, but is not crate trained (had separation anxiety when I first got him) nor does he do very well on a leash. He also lunges towards other dogs while leashed, but not when his energy is all the way out. I live in an apartment and he’s a hyper-active dog, and with me traveling often and working 2-3 jobs, I don’t get to see him or take care of him as much as I’d like to.

Story
Viggo is a proud member of the John Wick litter—a highly trained unit of absurdly cute puppies with one shared goal: to melt hearts and steal snacks. Around here, we call them the Wicklings, and Viggo might just be the ringleader of charm. He’s a golden-tan cuddle bug with a signature move: the soulful stare. One look into his big brown eyes and you’ll find yourself handing over the treat, the toy, and probably your Netflix password. He’s just that convincing. Viggo’s also got a weirdly intense bond with a blue starfish toy (possibly magical?), and he carries it around like a prized treasure. He knows how to sit, is working hard on potty and crate training, and generally lives life as a floppy, lovable little goofball. Things Viggo brings to the table: 🦴 Squeaky toy loyalty at ride-or-die levels 👀 Eye contact that could melt steel 🛋 Expert snuggler with zero respect for personal space 🎓 Sit? Nailed it. Potty training? Getting there. ❤️ Love sponge with a heart of gold and legs of pure zoom Viggo loves other dogs, loves people, and would thrive in a home that offers lots of love, guidance, and maybe a few backup starfish toys—just in case. If you’re ready for a puppy with main character energy, Wickling-level charm, and a full-body wag that could solve world peace, Viggo is your guy.

Story
Ellie is a 4-year dog who has a lot of energy. She is very sweet but caution should be used around young children. She does not know her own strength. She needs a fenced in yard or lots of walks to burn off her energy. Her owner was put into senior housing in February, and she and her sister (Sophie) have been staying with us. They are bonded and need to stay together. We would keep her and her sister, but we already have two dogs and it is too much for us to have all four dogs. I want her to stay local to Hamilton County or north Marion County. This must be an open adoption where I can pick her up to take visit her “mom” once in a while. She misses her babies. She is great with elementary and older children. She does not do well with cats.

Story
Rex has been our family dog for the last 2.5 years. We adopted him at age 1 from an elderly couple that didn't invest time in him. Once with us, he passed Novice training with flying colors. He has excellent house manners & knows commands. We have never had to crate him. Rex enjoys car rides, snuggles, and walks. He does require a fenced in yard. Rex's ideal home would have no children under the age of 12 and no little dogs/critters. He is used to us working from home but also leaving him for extended periods of time. We are rehoming him for 2 reasons: We recently moved to a farm and Rex has an extremely high prey drive. He will NOT recall once he locks on to a critter and is not getting along with our horses. Reason number 2 is that we installed an invisible fence and after 8 attempts at training plus the max strength collar, he has become extremely protective of our property. Please consider giving him a loving home!

Story
She was born in November 2020 acquired from a small breeder in Fort Wayne, IN. She is full of spunk and loves to play especially with other kids and pets. In true bulldog nature, she is afraid of her own shadow but is also the fiercest protector. She loves all the pets and cuddles and naps for days are a must.

Story
Riley was a rescue that I adopted when she was 4 months old. She is now 10 years old. The addition of our new baby has been a challenge for her. With lots of jealousy and needing extra attention that we unfortunately cannot give her at this time, we believe she would do better in a home where she can be the baby again. She’s very loving and sweet.
