Story
Hi friends, I'm Blake, a big hunk of puppy love with an even bigger heart! At 5 months old and 52 lbs, I'm still growing into my paws and discovering the joys of the world. I’m most likely a Spaniel/Pointer mix and I think I’m going to be a bigger boy. I'm super friendly and submissive to other dog pals, and I dream of finding a forever home with a furry companion to share my adventures with. I love giving my canine friends kisses and doing laps together around the yard. My forever home will definitely need a fully FENCED-IN yard and a doggie best friend for me.I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan. Life has been a whirlwind of new experiences since I arrived here, and I'm still getting used to being inside a home. But hey, I've already nailed crate and house training, so I'm a quick learner! While I'm still figuring out this whole leash thing, I'm making progress one paw at a time. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, I know I'll get there. I haven’t had any exposure to cats yet, and I think I’d do well with children over 6 years old.I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350.00. Are you the family I've been waiting for? Ready to bring me home?  If you have questions about me or would like to request an adoption application, please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Let's embark on this journey together and make memories that will last a lifetime!November 2, 2024, 10:53 pm

Story
Hi friends! My name is Ram, and I'm a handsome 2-year-old Lab mix who was rescued just in the nick of time. I'm a happy, 60-pound bundle of energy, known for my sloppy kisses, wiggle butts and endless curiosity. I have a beautiful black bronze coat that is very unique! I’m looking for my forever family to start making good memories with.I love to play and I would love another canine sibling to romp around with in a FENCED-IN YARD because I have a lot of energy! I'm great with older kids, but sometimes I get so excited that I jump up, which might be a bit much for the little ones. I can get along with cats too, with a slow introduction. I was a favorite amongst the shelter staff and my foster Mom says I'm one of the sweetest dogs she’s ever met.I've been learning my basic commands and how to be a good house pup. I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever been in a home, but I haven’t had a single accident, so I think it’s safe to say that I’m housebroken. I don't have any aggressive or destructive behavior and can even be trusted to be left out of my crate. I just want to be close to you, giving you hugs and kisses all the time.I'm fully-vetted and ready to find my forever home, with an adoption fee of $300. Questions about this handsome fella? Ready to bring me home? Email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. to get answers to your questions or to request an adoption application.  I'm so excited to meet you and share all the love and joy I have to offer!November 2, 2024, 10:53 pm

Story
Oh la la! My name is Paris and I’m a 7-month-old, 30lb black Lab mix and I’m tres to find my forever home! I was rescued from a culvert in Alabama with my siblings and being able to live in a home with a family is fantastic! I sleep all night in my crate, tell my family when I need to go outside, and I'm an excellent traveler in the car. I’m being fostered in Battle Creek, Michigan.I am incredibly curious and have a lot of energy, so my foster family is working with me on my manners (I'm pretty small and just want to see everything!) but I'm getting better everyday at sitting, laying down and not jumping on people to say hello. I'm still a little food insecure, so be careful of leaving food on the counter, but that also means I'm extremely food motivated - I'll do just about anything for a treat! I do have some anxiety around bath time, so my future family will need to work with me on that. I LOVE kids and I’m not very interested in cats.I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350. Questions about me? Ready to make me a part of your family? Email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. and request an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you! I will definitely bring a lot of life, laughs, and love to your home!November 2, 2024, 10:53 pm

Story
Hi there! My name is Faye, and I’m a female 3-year-old black Lab/German Shepherd mix with a lot of love to give. I weigh about 60lbs and have a shiny black coat that I love showing off. I’ve got a half flip (one ear up, one down), which everyone says makes me look extra cute! Before I was rescued, I found myself in dire straits - as a black dog in a southern shelter, my odds weren’t very good.  I’m currently  living with a wonderful foster family in Byron Center, MI, but what I really want is a forever home where I can share all my love and happiness.I absolutely love people and get along great with dogs of all sizes. Playing outside is one of my favorite things to do, especially when I get to catch frisbees or patrol the yard for squirrels. I have a special stuffed toy, my “baby,” that I carry around gently—I never tear it apart because it’s my favorite.I’m very in tune with my person and love going on adventures. I’m gentle when taking treats and I’m quiet inside the house. I’ve learned some basic commands and am always eager to make my person happy. I walk on a leash, but sometimes I get excited and might lunge if I see another dog or a squirrel, so I need a fully FENCED-IN YARD to keep me safe.I’m housebroken, crate-trained, fully-vetted and ready to join your family with an adoption fee of $300. If you have questions about me, please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Think we’re a perfect match? Please fill out the adoption application by visiting our website at www.projecthoperescue.com. Story
Hi there! I’m Zoey, an 11-month-old Great Dane/Lab mix with a lot of love to give. I was rescued from a scary kill shelter in Alabama, but now I’m safe and sound, staying with a foster family in here in Quincy, MI, but I can’t wait to find my forever family.I’m about 55 pounds of pure fun and sweetness! I love playing with dogs of all sizes, and I’m even cool with cats—as long as they’re dog-savvy. Running around and playing are some of my favorite things to do, so I’m hoping my new home has a fully FENCED-IN YARD where I can let loose and show off my zoomies.Being a puppy, I’m really into chewing, so I’ll need plenty of toys to keep me busy. I’d be so happy to have another dog buddy to play with too! Right now, I’m working on building my confidence with my foster mom, who is a trainer, and learning some cool things like basic obedience and a fun trick called “touch.” I’m a quick learner and super curious about everything around me.I might be a little shy when I first meet new people, but don’t worry—once I get to know you, I’ll be your best friend forever. I’m calm most of the time, but I do get bursts of energy where I just have to run around and have some fun.I’m fully-vetted, pretty good on a leash, housebroken and I’m crate-trained, too. I even enjoy car rides! And guess what? I love water—especially splashing around in my turtle pool.If you think we’d be a good match, let’s meet! My adoption fee is $350, and I promise I’m worth every penny. Questions about me? Please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Ready to bring me home?
