Story
Hi, I’m Kronk. I’m very loving and I love to cuddle. I can be very hyper. I need someone who is good at training me, and someone with patience. I need someone with a lot of energy, and it would be a bonus to have another hyper dog to play with if they were to get along. I need a yard to run in. I can be difficult on walks, and require constant attention to surroundings. If I get within 40-50 feet of another dog I’ll get hyper. I’m good at staying on my place when my owner eats dinner. It can be a challenge introducing new males in the house, but I’m better if the new person gives me treats. I like to bark a lot!! I don’t do well with being crated. I am fine in the house, up to 8 hours. I can be a really great dog given the right care. My owner just had some big life changes and is too busy to give me the love and attention I need.

Story
We are looking for a new forever home for our sweet girl Hazel. She is the sweetest girl, but unfortunately, she and our other female dog are no longer getting along to the point that they can not physically be around each other in anyway. Hazel is approximately two years old, spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations, 59% English Shepard + a mix of Rottweiler/Pit She is good with cats, never been around young kids, and needs to be an only dog. She loves to run around a fenced yard, go on walks, loves car rides, Housetrained but does not care for the kennel Very scared of thunderstorms and has anxiety at times (has a script for Trazadone to help with anxiety) Needs an adopter that is patient with her while she warms up to you, she will growl at first b/c of nerves. She may get along with other male dogs but would be best as an only dog. She sleeps in bed with us or her bed and loves cuddles. Screening through Found A Hound Rescue (no fee if approved) She needs a hero!

Story
Harlequin is a rescue from Atlanta GA. He was on the streets for at least 2 to 3 months before they could catch him. I found him in pitifully shape and had to shave about 50% of him to get the mats out. He was an instant attachment and has been underfoot ever since. However a few months ago he and the German Shepherd began fighting. I'm afraid he's going to get hurt or worse. I've had him 18 months, he just had a checkup and all shots, including a 12 month heartworm preventative shot. It's killing me to let him go but I have to put him first. He love to ruff house, tries to eat strangers in his yard or house. Is food driven, needs let out frequently. He love bigger than life. He does great in his emotional support vest in store and will lay under table at restaurants. Single dog household only.

Story
Pickles was found by a crew of Site Conservation Technicians at Horseshoe Lake State Park in Madison County, IL. In July 2025. As of today no one has claimed him and he has been fostered by one of the technicians since then. The technician position is a temporary job and they will be out of work soon and will no longer be able to care for the dog so rehoming is critical at this time as all other shelters are full. He is both sweet and friendly as well as protective and obedient. Loves to travel and be by your side as much as possible. He requires time, patience, and a lot of exercise. He is no more than a year old according to the vet and up to date on all vaccines, as well as neutered. He has a chew toys, food & water bowls, hoodie & PJ's set, and a harness. I can also accommodate with an outdoor run/lead system if necessary and a large bag of food. PLEASE serious inquiries only! We are running out of time and too many people have given us false hope already. Thank you.
