Story
Archie is almost 9 years old and has been with us since he was 2 he is great with our other German Rory who is almost 3. I need to move and my financial circumstances are changing and can no longer keep them. They are great with kids and have been around newborns on up. They love to be with the family and are very much gum on shoe dogs.

Story
This is a super sweet lovable snuggly pup. She was adopted and her former owners had some medical needs and were not able to take care for her anymore. This is the only reason why they gave her up which was a very hard decision for them but they did what was best for her. She gets along with dogs and cats that is known so far. Very smart, easy to train. She knows how to give both paws sit. Stay come down! She has a very soft coat which makes her that much more snuggable she is also a bit of a goofball. She's very protective of her fellow females. She is neutered. She would be great in a family with children or someone that's active.

Story
We adopted Oliver approximately 3 to 4 years ago from an animal shelter. He’s an amazing dog. He has been trained professionally, is very well with children and people of all kind… although he still thinks he’s a big baby. We are at a point in our lives where we have a small child, and not enough time to give him love he deserves. We want to find the perfect new owners and not just anybody so we are willing to wait as long as it would take.

Story
Dog Name: Delilah Age: 5 months Gender: Female Breed: Pit Bull Terrier mix Weight: 25lbs Crate trained: Yes Potty trained: Yes with a schedule Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Spayed/Neutered: Yes Heartworm: Negative Microchipped: Yes Energy level: Medium. Would do best in a home that averages 2, 30 minute walks and some play daily. Other than that, she loves her naps! The best way to describe Delilah (also known as “Lilah” or “Deli meat” in her foster home) is one little walking cuddle puddle. She’s soft, both in her spirit and in her coat; she’s confident, but not wreckless; she’s incredibly trainable. Her ears are the size of satellites and I’d put money on her being able to hear what’s going on an entire galaxy away. The only interruption in the sound waves reaching her noggin might come from the plethora of snorts and grunts she makes doing seemingly anything. It’s beyond adorable. She ’s like a little piglet! As a tiny baby angel, Deli is currently in her “all or nothing” stage, where she’s either playing with her foster brother and toys or taking a FAT nap in your lap. She’s a perfect coworker to her foster mom when she works from home, and like a little shadow will follow her people everywhere. She’s a puppy, so Delilah likes to play and is still learning to navigate the world around her. You wouldn’t guess she was a puppy if you heard her sleeping though. She sounds like your old man in a recliner when he’s “just resting his eyes”. Delilah defines “personal space” as the space that you and her take up together. She loves to be right wherever you are. She hasn’t met a human, dog, or cat she hasn’t immediately wanted to befriend, and has even play bowed at a lamp post. Seriously. She’s working on her leash training and excelling, knows commands “sit” and “crate” well (she’s a smart cookie), and is currently working on “stay”, “down”, and “drop” cues. She’s amazing in the car, perfect in the bath, super cat and dog-friendly, doesn’t react to kids of any age that we’ve seen, doesn’t bark nor has shown any concerning destructive behaviors (other than sometimes collecting our shoes without damaging them), and is so eager to please. She’s house-trained as long as she sticks to a routine (which is standard for her age) and will not potty when crated nor overnight. She could work on basic puppy training skills like being mouthy during playtime and being left alone, along with anything specific to your routine or home. But overall, Delilah is a sweet bundle of joy that would be the perfect addition to any home environment. Anything that we’ve thrown at her she has exceeded all expectations. Delilah would thrive in a home with owners that could continue her basic training and give her a solid routine or structure as she’s still learning. She would likely do best with a family that spends more time at home than not given her needs for training, but also because she genuinely just loves being around her people. A medium energy dog, Delilah LOVES playing with her dog foster brother, playing tug of war, or chewing on a hard bone. But when nighttime comes around, you better love cuddles and have an empty lap to spare otherwise this is not the gal for you. Want to see videos of Delilah? Her foster mom has documented her journey on TikTok @lexlikesto for potential adopters to get to know her better! Story
Dog Name: Polly Age: 2 Gender: F Breed: pitbull/boxer Weight: 40lbs Crate trained: yes Potty trained: yes Dog friendly: yes Cat friendly: unknown Kid friendly: possibly- older Vaccinated: yes Spayed/Neutered: yes Heartworm: negative Microchipped: yes Energy level: medium/low Polly Pocket is cute on the outside but even better when you get her to open up. She has come miles from the terrified dog at CACC, though she still has her moments. Polly LOVES toys, especially squishy balls and small stuffed animals. She almost always has one in her mouth, or two, and has been known to somehow fit 3 in there. She easily entertains herself with them by throwing them around, pouncing on them, running around with them and teasing you to catch her. She can be a power chewer with some toys, while keeping others safe from harm. Her happiness is contagious as she rolls around, sploots, does crazy yoga poses, and is always wagging her tail with her toys. She is also very fast when she wants to be, and can zoom around the house or yard, with an almost deer like hop to her running. Sometimes when running up the stairs, she will stop halfway turn around, lay down on the stairs and wait for you - it’s adorable. In addition to toys, she loves belly rubs. She asks for them regularly, and sometimes jumps up to give hugs. 99% of the time she is a very happy playful dog. Polly generally sits without being asked, especially if a treat is involved, and also knows how to give paw. She is potty trained and non-destructive, and is left uncrated in a room with no issues. If I didn’t have 3 other dogs, I would have no concern leaving her out to roam the whole house. She is curious and might follow you around, but is not needy, so you can easily work on a computer or watch tv or do whatever, as she will go off and play by herself once she has done her investigating and realizes she isn’t interested in what you are doing. I’ve only heard her bark twice (randomly at nothing), and she only whines when she needs to go outside or for a second sometimes when you put her in her room. She will even voluntarily go outside in the rain and show! While she is generally unphased by noises (tv, dishes clanking, power drill, dogs barking, lawnmower, my generator, vacuum, etc), she gets very nervous when she hears the garbage truck. I know this will get better over time, as she was initially the same way with the snow plow, but is now fine with this too. She can take a bit to trust people and is a bit afraid of people when they meet, specifically when it comes to being close to her neck. A stranger putting on collars or leashes is a trigger for her. Poor girl thinks everyone wants to grab her and hurt her :( Having a secure, fenced yard (size isn’t super important) would be ideal for her as walks will be a bit overwhelming. She has met several people, male and female adults, and has warmed up to them, usually under 5 minutes. Polly Pocket is cute, playful, and a very sweet girl. When she trusts you, she loves you. You are her person and she knows the world is safe. She warmed up to me in about a day, and continued to be even more awesome as the weeks went on. She definitely had a very traumatic past, but I have seen huge strides in her every single day that I’ve had her. I have no doubt that she will continue to open up and be an excellent dog for whomever is lucky enough to earn her trust. She has not met any children to my knowledge, but probably would be okay around older children that won’t be grabby with her. She would be fine with another dog, but I think she would also enjoy being an only dog and being spoiled with all the toys and love her heart desires. Being left alone while at work is not a concern, nor is coming and going to run errands - she just stays on her bed until you go into her room to get her. Her ideal adopter would be someone that has some patience, wants to spoil her with toys and treats, and doesn’t have a super active social life (constant new people coming over and always wanting to take her outside on walks and to new places).
