Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
The previous owner was moving, my daughter asked me if I could take her. She’s very mellow, hasn’t ever bitten or even attempted to be mean. I have pre teenaged grandchildren and they all like her. She’s good with my cat and they even snuggle together. I keep food and water always in her bowls and she eats as needed. Never, ever does she attempt to get food off my counters. She ignores it all, only her food. She’s very gentle and would make a great addition to a family that can walk her daily, socialize her and bathe her which my health does not permit me to do. Thank you for considering Ivy.

Story
My daughter gave me Gibson because she had too many pets. Gibson is very gentle, never shows any aggression at any time. He chase’s the cat but doesn’t hurt her if she gets close to her, mostly wants to play. I have teenage grandchildren and they get along well with him. Gibson will find a comfortable spot in any room, just give him a cozy bed and he’ll find his happy place right there. Does not bother food or anything on cabinets, ever.

Story
Weve had Nugget for about a year now and he has definitely been a one-of-a-kind dog. Hes sweet, energetic, and loving. Hes about 2 years old and we acquired him from a shelter that no longer is open. Weve learned that we are not capable of providing for this dogs needs and are afraid he isnt happy. Ideally we would love for him to find a family that can give him the love and attention he deserves, as well as plenty of space for him to run around and play in.

Haku

Husky

Male, Adult
Terre Haute, IN
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Haku is your typical high energy husky with lots of love to offer. He is seven years old. He is very playful and as a result is not great with smaller animals, but he is great at playing with other big dogs. He does hate car rides and is very stubborn with leashes, and therefore needs a family with a fenced in yard to run around in. He is extremely friendly, but can give some attitude. He does have a sensitive stomach, so he can’t have too many treats or certain brands of dog food. All in all Haku would be a great addition to any family who already has big dogs (preferably other huskies), and can provide him with lots of love and plenty of space to get out all of his energy.

Story
7 years ago I bought Sammy’s brother, Silas. We were worried he was lonely so we went back to the same breeder to get him a friend and brought, Sammy home. She is a sweet dog and great with kids and other dogs, but when we got her we only had 1 child and since then have had another with our third on the way so we have ran out of room for our sweet girl. She deserves more attention and room that we can’t give her at this time. We are looking for a GREAT home to send her to so that she will get the love and attention she deserves.

Story
Bruce Willis is a handsome, loving, 4 year-old mixed breed. He's 100% house broken & received other formal training. He responds well to all common commands (sit, stay, kennel, leave it & come). He gets along well with other dogs, is gentle & loving with small children, but would not do well in a household with cats. His favorite past times are trying to catch squirrels and lounging on the couch. We are seeking a new home for Bruce Willis due to my relocation to a senior living community. :( His perfect home would include someone who likes to take him on walks or hikes. The ideal new family may include someone who works from home, is retired, or works in a profession that allows for a travel-canine-companion (he loves rides!) He would not do well being left at home alone all day. He is up-to-date on his shots, but currently recouperating from a slipped disk & takes a pain medication once a day. The vet expects him to be fully recovered by January or February.
