MADDIE - 3 year female. Maddie is a sweet, low key chill kind of girl. She has a very gentle nature and very well behaved. Her long natural rottie tail never stops wagging when meeting new people. Maddie did well when meeting both big and small dogs. So far she has not been tested with a cat. Maddie is housebroken and crate trained. If there are children in Maddie's new family, we recommend they are over the age of 5. If you are interested in including MADDIE in your home, please go to our website http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=150 for the rescue location (Recycled Rotts is located in the far west suburbs of Chicago IL), placement policies/fee, placement area and the link to our online application. Story
BIGGIE'S PLACEMENT FEE HAS BEEN PAID BY AN ANONYMOUS DONATION BIGGIE – 2 ½ year male. Rottie, possible Shepherd mix. Biggie is the cutest, sweetest boy. He is pretty chill, well behaved, excellent car rider, walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He is also housebroken and crate trained, good with chicken and birds and good with dogs his size. With all these positives why would his family surrender him to a large municipal shelter? There his fate was sealed and, even though he is a mix, we could not let this wonderful boy be put down. Biggie is now ready for a new family and a new life. If there are children in his new family we recommend they are over the age of 5. If you are interested in including BIGGIE in your home, please go to our website http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=150 for the rescue location (Recycled Rotts is located in the far west suburbs of Chicago IL), placement policies/fee, placement area and the link to our online application. Dog’s Name: Leo Location: Naperville, IL Age or Date of Birth: 01/05/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Great Dane Color: Gray Dog's Weight: 46 lbs Say Hello to Leo – A Big-Hearted Boy Ready for His Forever Home! Would do best as only dog.Cats?: Unknown but unlikely due to prey driveKids?:  Older kids, needs slow introduction Meet Gracie – A Loyal Heart Looking for Her Safe Place Gracie is a deeply loyal and loving girl with so much affection to give to the right person. She thrives in a calm, stable environment where she can feel secure and understood. While Gracie has had difficult experiences with other dogs in the past, she shines as an only pet, forming incredibly strong bonds with her humans and offering unwavering devotion. New situations and busy environments can be overwhelming for Gracie, so she’s searching for a quiet home with an experienced adopter who understands guardian breeds and is committed to continuing her training with patience and consistency. Her protective nature makes her an excellent companion for someone seeking a devoted, one-on-one connection. Gracie is working on muzzle training, which helps her feel safe in unfamiliar situations, and it’s important her future family is comfortable continuing this practice. A fenced yard isn’t required, but due to her prey drive, she’ll need to be leashed or closely supervised whenever she’s outdoors. Gracie isn’t looking for a social life—she’s looking for her person. Someone who will respect her boundaries, appreciate her loyalty, and give her the peaceful home she deserves. In return, she’ll be your fiercest protector and most loyal friend.
