Story
Meet Snow White! 55 lbs 1 year Snow White is quite the catch!! This pretty girl hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home, does great in her crate, and loves other dogs. She likes to play with other dogs but doesn’t come on too strong. Snow White is a young dog and as such loves her play time, but she tires out and loves to spend time snuggling with her humans and other dogs. She loves her toys and playing fetch! She is very good at fetching and bringing the toy back to you, excited to keep playing. Snow White does good with kids but would be best with kids older than 5 years old as the littler kids make her nervous. Snow White rarely barks! And loves car rides. She is good on a leash. She’s pretty much amazing!!! Adopt Snow White so you can see the most adorable head tilt ever, every day! Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org! We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview. From there, we’d schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home. Questions about adoption? Story
Meet Tito! 2 years 43 lbs Tito is a very sweet, lovable boy who loves to give hugs. He is house trained, as long as you look for small cues like looking at the back door. He doesn't mind his crate overnight and will walk right in for a treat. He does very well with the older resident dog; however, he would be thrilled in a home with a younger dog who wants to play! He also loves chewing bones and playing with his favorite duck. He is easily motivated by training treats. He enjoys walks each day and is very good on a leash. Tito would thrive in a home with a family who has time to play fetch every day. He's a quick learner and returns the ball most of the time. At the end of the day, he enjoys lounging in the evening with his foster family. Tito has been with Rescued Rascals since October 2023, and hasn’t had any interest! We are stumped as to how this good boy hasn’t been scooped up yet! If you're looking for a good boy who loves to cuddle and be part of the family, look no further! Story
Meet Shayla! 1 year 35 lbs Hello! My name is Shayla. I am such a happy and full of life girl! I am great with other dogs, especially if they’ll play with me! I am good with kids too, but older kids would be best since I can be pretty energetic and might be too much for littler kids. She does get the Zoomies now and then which is always fun to watch! A good walk or play time does help get Shayla’s energy out and bring out her snuggly side! Shayla is crate trained, and every time you go to take her out, you will be greeted with a ton of love! She is potty trained as long as you take her outside every time she comes out of the crate. This girl is super smart and combined with that she is also very food motivated! Shayla is a big snuggler with her humans, she really loves her people. She also loves having a doggy companion by her side to show her the ropes. Shayla is great at keeping her foster brother busy by playing tug with him! A super cute thing about Shayla is when she starts to get sleepy she nuzzles on her own legs, and it’s always a sign that she’s getting ready for a nap or bedtime! This girl is sure to bring a ton of joy and fun to her forever family! Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org! Story
Simba is 3 years old, he is a very active dog. He loves to play and be around humans. Although, he does not play for long because he gets tired and starts breathing hard due to his snout. The most he can walk is a mile, he does not really enjoy going for walks. Simba was trained to use a bell to announce that he needs to use the bathroom outside, or that he wants to go outside to play. Due to his breed, Simba has skin issues and is constantly itchy. Simba does shed. He enjoys being scratched, especially on both sides of his belly. We are looking for a new home that has the time to take care of Simba and give him the attention that he needs. My partner and I both work full time, and a part time, which means we are not home often. Simba spends a lot of time alone, which is why we want someone that will spend more time with him.

Story
Meet Fred(rico). Fred is a 9 year old Boston Terrier who is a breeder release. But don't be fooled by his age! This mature guy still gets the zoomies while playing with his foster sister or while playing catch with his ball. Fred's sweet face matches his sweet natured demeanor. He would do well in home with children. Fred is a gentle soul who loves to cuddle and snuggle and just be close to you. Fred's foster family said they are working on teaching Fred how to be in a family. He is currently learning how to go potty outside 100% of the time and taking walks on a leash. Both of which are challenges for Fred. Because of this, Fred will need a family who has lots of patience with him as he learns the ropes is life on the outside. He is crate trained and is very comfortable in a crate sleeping at night as well as while his foster family is away from home. Schedule a meet with Fred today!

Story
Meet Stanley, a charming 2-year-old, 63lbs mixed breed male- possibly a Staffordshire terrier mix. His beautiful brown eyes and sleek coat make him a real standout. Stanley is a gentle and loving soul who adores the company of other canine friends. While he's not a fan of cats, he's incredibly friendly and affectionate with humans. Stanley walks nicely on the leash with just a little pulling, and he's always up for a leisurely stroll or a fun-filled playtime. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to share your life with, Stanley is the perfect choice!
