He is one year old, his birthday is November 27,2023. He is one of the most amazing dogs I’ve owned I just lost my job and couldn’t afford his food anymore. I kept him until his last bowl of food, he is currently at the Peoria pound please just go save him. I cried the whole time taking him there please just give him one the best homes, by just getting him out of there.

Story
Cualli is red with black gradient at the neck and tail, and has a narrow white patch on his chest, hazel eyes, born March 8, 2024, 9 months old. He's very playful and affectionate, loves car rides and playing ball. He wants to play with our other dog, but the other one is too aggressive, so I think he would love to have other dogs to play with in his new home. He sleeps on my bed, so he's not crate trained, but he is housebroken (jumps at where I keep his leash/harness when he has to go). Bought him in June from a Starkville MS breeder to love forever, but keeping him separated from our other dog, along with imminent loss of my job, requires me to rehome him. I'll ship him to you but you must pay the shipping costs, including cost of sedating him as needed.

Story
Clyde came from a shelter. He is 160 pounds. He is very strong and silly. He requires daily exercise and stimulation or he gets bored. He is a good dog, can be territorial on walks when other dogs are around but loves to play and wrestle with my smaller dog just fine. Clyde will do well with a male who can be in charge of him and keep him in check. Please re-search his breed. He is not for first time dog owners. Will not do well with children, due to his size and playfulness. My living situation and income has changed and I don’t have the time or resources to give him what he needs to have a full life. My work schedule is unpredictable and My household just took a major financial hit, so this is just not the right fit anymore. Clyde is a great dog, and it is very hard to give him up, but he deserves a life that I am unable to give him at this time. Serious inquiries only. Experienced dog owners only. Must have history owning large breeds. Must plan to keep him as an inside dog.

Story
We are rehoming him bc we are now expecting & do not want to take the risk as he has shown aggression towards babies. We have had him for 3 years and he does fine with older children. We are not willing to adopt him to a family with children under the age of 10. Born March 2021. Around 50lbs. Up to date on all vaccines. On monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention. Require a grain-free diet. He loves being outside! He enjoys the water and hiking trails. He is a super playful and a very good dog. He would not do well in a home with any small pets. He has been the only pet weve had, so he is used to being the only dog. Is house trained. Knows basic commands- sit, down, come, shake, stay, off. Crated when we have company, but not at night or when we leave. He does not like being groomed. We will give everything we have for him to his new home. Crate, bed, bowls, leashes, long line, harness, toys, treats.

Story
Lee had a sleepover and here is what they had to say!The sounds of a home are intriguing to him. He wasn’t scared by the TV, he was just interested in it. Largely he just wanted to snuggle all night and lay right next to me or on me. He’s not house trained, but he does give subtle cues when he does have to go outside to go potty so I feel this will be a quick learn for him. Potential adopters should know that due to his allergies, his medication will cost roughly $100 a month. He’s not allergic to food, just the environment which has caused infections in his ears. The vets at University of Illinois believe that once his infection is cleared up, he will need Apoquel daily, topical ear medications such as steroid drops two or three times a week, medicated baths perhaps once a week, and vet visits every three to six months to assess his skin, ears and allergy control.Lee is a sweet boy that needs to be the only animal in the home.

Story
Finch is a 5 year old 60lbs red tick coonhound with a voice like David Allen Coe. He has many typical hound tendencies like being vocal, constant curiosity and nose to the ground, but he is also very food motivated. He LOVES going on walks, treats, and is dog friendly and would like a dog brother or sister in his forever home. He is potty trained in his foster home that he has lived in for 2 years. Finch is a sensitive guy. He comes from a home where he was unsure of new people but generally tolerated them outside of the home. He is more protective of himself and his family when people enter his home if he is not comfortable with them. However, his foster mom has found that if they, along with the new person and his foster dog sister, goes for a walk outside then he`s more comfortable allowing the new person inside the home when done. They have also found success if he is on leash and treated when the new person enters that also works well. We do not recommend small children as it can take him a while to feel comfortable and trust his surroundings. Finch will need a family committed to him and his future socialization if they want to have success with this gorgeous copper guy.Adoption Fee: $ 200Estimated Date of Birth: UnknownIntake Reason: transfer from partner rescueAnimal will be spayed and up to date on vaccines, and microchipped prior to adoption. If their kennel card on display at TAPS shelter facility is marked as unaltered, the animal will be altered prior to being released for adoption. Animal stage may change from time to time based on surgery and medical status. TAPS strives to keep kennel cards as up to date as possible with current information but from time to time, information may change and a new kennel card may be pending. Full and current vaccination schedule and medical records along with any behavioral disclosures will be provided at time of adoption.
