Story
Everyone meet our sweet girl Skye! Skye was dumped outside our clinic a few months ago in pretty rough shape! She was skins and bones but quick to trust us! After some TLC from our staff she has quickly gained her weight back and is almost 40 pounds now! She’s a petite girl and the cutest little girl with a huge personality. Skye can be a little protective over her food bowl which can be understandable due to the condition she was found in. She can also be a little protective over her toys so we are hoping we can find a rescue that can help work with her on this! She loves to give hugs and kisses and just loves attention! Available at County Line Pet Hospital 708-754-2351 Clphadoption@gmail.com

Story
🚨In need of licensed rescue or someone willing to foster her through a licensed rescue🚨 Everyone meet Freya! Freya was found a few months ago in our field outside our building by one of our employees. Freya unfortunately was never claimed by an owner and is now in need of a foster home to decompress. Freya has quickly become stressed out in our kennels and needs out asap! She is not a fan of other dogs and will need a foster home where she is the only pet or can be kept completely separate from other pets. During her initial behavior test she showed some possessiveness over her food bowl and toys and was a little weary around strangers at first. However our kennel attendants have been working hard with her on training and she’s been doing wonderful! She is very treat motivated and eager to learn new tricks. Freya has quickly shown us how smart she is! Freya knows sit, stay, come, paw, spin, and speak! We would love nothing more than to get Freya out of our kennels and into a foster home to continue her training and working with her. If you are interested in fostering Freya through a licensed rescue, send us a message and we can put you in touch with rescues that we work with! Clphadoption@gmail.com 708-754-2351

Story
Hershey is 5 years old; his birthday is June 16, 2019. He is playful, demands attention, loves to cuddle, and will lay dawn and take a nap whenever you do. Unfortunately, he is not fully trained but is food driven and learns easily. Hershey has separation anxiety, he can be left alone but will voice his opinion on it for a little bit. He deserves to be in a home where he is happy and taken care of.

Story
I’m Manny, a 12 year old, 20 pound, male Corgi mix. I’m looking for a special home to spend my golden years. I’m very loving and get along with dogs and cats. I take my time warming up to new things. I am house trained. I am blind but get around fine and have no problem with stairs. In my past life I was very secluded and not cared for. That gave me some triggers. Well really just one — gates, any kind of gate. Because of Manny’s nervousness and past life, we will plan of multiple meetings. Also, Manny will need to be adopted within 50 miles of Flossmoor, IL. Manny is microchipped as well as up to date on vaccines, monthly preventatives. He has had a dental. Manny’s adoption fee is $150. If you are think you are Manny’s special someone, please visit heathersfosterdogs.org to complete and submit your adoption application.

Story
Hi all! I’m a 6 month old hound/pittie mix. I was part of an unplanned litter that my foster mom saw being given away online, & she stepped in to help & get my parents fixed so this doesn’t happen again! I’m currently 28 pounds & growing. I’m in foster care with other dogs & doing amazing. I’m great with kids & have even met some kittens. Please remember that while I’m cute, I’m still a PUPPY, you will need to continue to socialize & train me so I can be the best I can be. I will likely grow to be a medium-large size dog so keep that in mind. I am now housebroken & have great manners. I was so mellow at the vet! I have been neutered, microchipped, dewormed & given all age-appropriate vaccinations. I’m heartworm negative & on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $350 & I am fostered in the south suburbs of Chicago - the rescue serves that general area & Northwest Indiana. Please head to www.heathersfosterdogs.org to submit your application to meet me & it will be forwarded to my foster mom. No meets are set up until an application is on file.

Story
ADOPT FRANKIE! Hi everybody my name is Frankie. I’m an 11 lb. Pomeranian mix, about 2 years old. I’m a very happy sweet boy who’s about as gentle and laid back as they come. I’m very good about going outside to do my business. I love to cuddle on your lap for naps during the day. At night I currently snuggle up next to my foster mom in the big person bed. I get along very well with other dogs. But I’m also very content with just chilling out on my own. I’m a little guy so a small dog secure fence is probably best. I’ve already escaped through the pickets of my current fence. I can’t help it, I’m just curious I guess. I do occasionally like to do my zoomies in the yard as well. As far as kids, I haven’t really been around them at all, but I’m a small guy and usually very gentle. With my longer hair I will need to be groomed on a regular basis. I will say my first bath with my foster mom was a little scary for me, but I pretty much let her do what she needed to do. Then I pouted and ignored her for a bit. I’ve stayed out of trouble, for the most part. I’m normally cuddled up on my dog bed while my foster mom makes dinner. And during dinner, it’s pretty much the same thing. As long as I’m near people I’m pretty content. I’m also learning about this world we’re in, and have not been exposed to a lot on a walk, so I do tend to get a little scared or curious when hearing a new noise. I’d say I’m a mellow little munchkin who would make a great addition to any family. I have been vet checked, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, am up to date on routine shots including rabies and have been treated with flea & heartworm preventative. So I am ready to go to my forever loving home. Frankie’s adoption fee is $525. You must submit an adoption application before a meeting can be scheduled. The application serves as a basis for a conversation. So if you are interested in adopting, then using the menu at the top of the page click on “Adoption Application.” Submit your completed application & you will be contacted. We are located in the south suburbs of Chicago and serve the greater Chicago metropolitan area
