I want A "FUR"ever" HOME!  Read the FULL Bio to see where I am located and contact info:    2024082   Say hello to our good boy Bert!  Bert is around a year old, 38lbs collie mix.  Bert and his sister was picked up by animal control.  They had  showed up at someone's house and their owner never came looking for them. Well their loss is our gain. Bert is a sweetheart.   He keeps his kennel clean, always happy to see anyone and does not complain.   Bert is good with other dogs and knows how to sit. Bert will do better with another dog around his size (since he can be a rough player) to play with and help burn off some energy. Bert does pull on the leash when he sees something that interests him.  Please help us find this boy a home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Dash is around 7 months old, 25lbs and (guessing) dachshund/beagle mix.   He is a low rider for sure. Dash is a friendly boy who loves other dogs, gets along with cats, kids and people.  He has a big bark when nervous, but nothing a couple of treats can't fix.  He does good on a leash, knows basic commands, almost housebroke (will have accidents at first in a new home) and rides good in a car. Dash does love his food and we suggest using a slow feeder with him.  Also, when he gives kisses, he sometimes nips.  We are currently working with him on this.  Dash would love to have a new home. Please help us find him one.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. All ADOPTERS  MUST PLEASE..... Story
This pretty girl is Selene was abandoned in our meet and greet with 2 puppies over 1 year ago. Her puppies were adopted quickly but Selene had to stay with us a while. She was heartworm positive and had to be treated before she could be adopted. Selene went through the heartworm treatment with no problems. Sadly, Selene is still waiting for her forever family. Selene would make a wonderful addition to the home of her choosing. She gets along with almost everyone but is dog selective at times. She would definitely have to meet all members of your current family before adoption to make sure it is a good fit. Selene does know some basic commands and is a very smart, playful girl. Please visit: Https://www.stfrancis-care.org/adopt for adoption information including the adoption application

Story
Chad is a Heeler mix who came in with 8 siblings. They came to us when they were only 4 weeks old. They were an unwanted litter who were surrendered to us when their mama quit taking care of them.Chad's a sweet and gentle soul who's currently undergoing training at the Shawnee Correctional Center as part of our 3rd SWATT class. Chad is eager to learn and is making incredible progress in mastering manners and basic obedience. Chad graduates mid Jan and is hoping to go straight into a home where with a little love and patience, he'll blossom into the perfect furry companion.BONUS: Earlier this year, Chad attended a fun event at Big Muddy Brewing where Amber's Peace Love & Bows donated a gift certificate for 6 free baths and nail trims for Chad's adopter. Please visit: Https://www.stfrancis-care.org/adopt for adoption information including the adoption application
