Story
Lenny was found as a stray by a family member. My father in law took him in and took wonderful care of him. Even being found as a stray, there has never been any aggressive behaviors displayed, and he been taken out in public around other people, children, dogs and animals. He a very laid back, loving cuddle bug. Lennox is perfect for any type of family, whether you're a chill one that stays home a lot or goes on adventures. All he cares about is getting love and attention. And treats! He's very well behaved out in public and on leash. He does stop to sniff a lot, and pee on everything outside, but he's a boy! My father in law passed away almost 3 years ago. The house was willed to us and at the time, Lenny wasn't in the will, but resided in the home, therefore he became ours. We can't keep him in our home as we already have 3 dogs with dog aggression. We had a tenant in the home, taking care of him, but now we are selling the house. He's estimated between 7-9 years old.

Story
We adopted Streak around 4 months ago from the Sangamon County Animal Shelter. He is one and a half year old happy and playful dog and still very much a puppy at heart. He loves going on walks, runs, and playing fetch/tug of war; or is content to sit and cuddle sharing love and affection. Do to his view of being a 60lb lap dog, I would recommend older kids, but he has never been aggressive towards anyone. He loves to play with other dogs and has enjoyed tumbling around with his house mate (an american pit bull of the same age) both inside and out. Streak is an avid chewer. He has not damaged any furniture, but I strongly recommend thicker treats and sturdier toys. He is ready to move and has a crate, harness, leash and bed ready to move with him (no extra charge). He is a wonderful, loving, sweet dog. Personal circumstances will not allow me to continue to give him the best home environment and we are hoping to find a family that can provide the love he deserves.

Story
Hi. My name is Lennox and I am looking for a loving home. I am an American Staffordshire Terrier. I am between 7 and 9 years old. I had a loving home but my dad passed away. His family can’t care for me so I need a home as quickly as possible. Here is what the family says about me: “Lenny is a very sweet loving and cuddly boy. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He just wants love and attention. And all the treats of course. It kills me to have to surrender him, I've fallen head over heels in love with him, but we unfortunately can't keep him in our home.” Please help me find a wonderful home. My adoption fee is $75. I am good with adults, kids, cats, and other dogs. I would be perfect in your home. If you are interested in Lennox, please visit www.pawscare.org, and click on the online application. We require the application to be filled out and approved prior to meeting him as all of our animals are in private foster homes. Please fill out all information as we cannot process incomplete applications. A phone number for your veterinarian is a must. We CANNOT process your application without a vet phone number.
