Story
Dog from Japan. Good cuddler. 4 years old. Adopted from a shelter at 2 years old, history before that unknown. Super cuddler. Likes being brushed, held, sleeping in the same bed. Knows sit, stay, where's your collar (to fetch the collar), down (only in conjunction with sit), and up-up(for climbing up anything, including your lap or arms ) Knows wanna go potty, wanna go out, go potty, and go number 2. No barking or whining problem (does either of these on occasion.) Had a biting problem, so some care still needed to gain the dog's trust before touching his face. Other areas were always fine, and he hasn't bitten anyone, even a stranger touching his face, in a year, but care should still be taken so he doesn't regress. He was kennel trained for potty and only trained for exclusively outside potty since January 2025, so outdoor training is not 100% yet. Some patience in this area would be beneficial as well.

We are heartbroken to part with our playful and lovable 3.5 year-old dog, Nala, we want to ensure she finds a forever home where she will receive all the love and attention she deserves. Scooby is a sweet gentle yellow lab mix. We were tempted to name him Velcro because he wants to follow his foster parents everywhere and is often found sleeping with his head on their laps. We decided on Scooby Doo because when he gets nervous, he gently but firmly stands up and literally wraps his two front paws around you in a hug. He is 8 months old and about 50 pounds knows how to sit and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and crate trained, though he doesn't need the crate anymore in his own home. He was found as a stray, he does like to eat alone and is good with cats and dogs, though his need for cuddles would make him a great candidate for a 1 dog family so he doesn't have to share your lap.
