Story
Shiloh is a very sweet 6 year old girl. The vet thinks she is Collie, Husky, Shepherd, but to me that face says there's Corgi in there somewhere! We adopted Shiloh from a rescue at 3 months old after someone discovered her and her litter mates thrown in a dumpster. She has always been timid, but as our kids have aged and our house has become increasingly noisy and active Shiloh has become unhappy and spends most of her time hiding in the basement. Shiloh is good with kids, adults and other dogs (she's never been around cats) but she does need a quieter/calmer home. She also loves a good bone, chasing a ball in the backyard, running through the snow and laying in front of the fireplace! The only reason she's not up to date on shots is because she's not a fan of going places.

Story
Meet Damascus! a 2 and a half year-old Bear Coat Shar Pei with more wrinkles than a seasoned sage and a personality that's even more complex. With his majestic, teddy bear-like appearance, he’s a self-proclaimed expert in napping, snacking, and giving side-eye to anyone who dares disturb his royal rest. His impressive coat, as soft as it is stylish, serves as the perfect camouflage for his undercover operation as a couch potato and professional blanket hog. He enjoys long walks to the fridge and leaving his owners wondering if they’ve ever seen a dog so dramatically aloof. Not just a pretty face—he’s got the charm, the sass, and the ability to make you laugh every time he wiggles his butt for a treat. Damascus is fostering in the Houston, TX area. Story
I'm Naynay, a 3-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix with a zest for life that's off the charts. I'm super independent but always up for an adventure. Whether it's running around, playing fetch with balls, chomping on bones or sticks, or splashing around in water, I'm your go-to gal for fun! I'm a high-energy pup who absolutely adores kids. They're the best playmates ever, & I can't get enough of their laughter & energy. I already know some cool tricks like "sit, "lay down, & "kennel-so you'll be impressed with my skills! While I'm fantastic with kids, I'd prefer to be the only pet in the household. I've got all the love & fun you need, & I promise to be your loyal companion. Also, I'll need a tall fence to keep me safe & sound because I'm quite the explorer. Oh, and vacuums make me a bit nervous-so I'll need some extra patience during clean-up time. If you're looking for a vibrant, active friend to keep you on your toes & fill your home with joy, I'm ready to be your new best friend.

Story
I'm a 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador mix, and let me tell you, I've got a big heart! My original owner had to give me up when she became homeless, & I miss her dearly. I was adopted but my owner left me outside with a 5' fence & it was too easy for me to jump over the fence & chase cyclists! I'm now ready for a new adventure with a loving family (with a 6' fence!) who can give me the attention I deserve. I'm a cuddly, affectionate guy who just wants to be around people. I'm super curious, too! I once thought a porcupine looked like a friend-let's just say I learned my lesson when I ended up at the vet to get those pesky quills removed! I have a ton of energy and love to run and play. My favorite toys are balls, squeaky toys, and treat-filled ones. Oh, and bones? Yes, please! I adore kids and would be thrilled to have some playmates to share my adventures with. I already know some commands like "Sit, "Stay, "Paw, and "Hugs, but I could really benefit from some additional training, especially with my leash manners. I'm housebroken, so no worries there! I get along well with other dogs, though I'm not a cat guy! If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's ready to fill your days with joy and cuddles, I'm your guy!

Story
Hi there! I'm Miss Piggy! I'm a 5-year-old Short Haired Pointer mix, and I weigh 38 pounds of pure love! I was found at Sage Raceway, and I can't wait to find my forever home. I'm sweet, affectionate, and I just want to be around my people all the time. While I might not know how to walk on a leash very well yet (training is a work in progress!), I promise I'm eager to learn. I'm all muscle and love to jump up for hugs, so I'd be best suited for a home with kids aged 10 and older. I get along great with other dogs, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about them. If you're looking for a loving companion who's ready to share cuddles and adventures, I'd love to meet you! Let's make some wonderful memories together!

Story
I'm Luna, a 2.5-year-old Border Collie with a big heart & an even bigger spirit. I came to this shelter after my original owner went to college & left me with his parents who couldn't keep me. I'm still getting used to my new surroundings, but I'm starting to show my sweet & affectionate personality. I can be a little shy at first, especially in this busy place, but once I feel comfortable, I love to cuddle & give gentle nudges for pets! I've learned a few commands like "Sit, "Stay, & "Paw, & I'm housebroken, so I'm ready to be part of your home. I'm curious about the world around me. Car rides & walks make me wag my tail with joy, & I never say no to treats-they're the best! I'm still figuring out how to make friends with other dogs, but I think with the right buddy, I could have a great time. I'm not so sure about cats or little kids, so it might be best if I live with kids aged 10+ who can understand my need for a little space & respect my gentle nature. If you're patient & loving, I promise to reward you with all the cuddles & companionship you could ever want. I can't wait to find my forever home where I can feel safe and loved.
