Story
Meet Rio Rae. She’s a six-year-old, purebred boxer. She’s been spayed, is an inside dog, and is house-trained. She LOVES playing fetch with her racketballs, going for car rides, sleeping on the couch with her blanket, snuggling, and wiggling with joy when her family comes home. She was raised with five kids and does fine with other dogs when we take her to her puppy sitter. When her family is around she growls and barks at other dogs. She is a guard dog and will bark at anyone who comes to the door, but she has never bitten anyone or any dog, she just likes to bark. She’s healthy but does have a sist on her ear, which she’s had most of her life. She's a sweetheart and it's sad to see her go, but we’re moving and it won’t work to keep her, so we're looking for a good home for her.

Story
Shiloh is a very sweet 6 year old girl. The vet thinks she is Collie, Husky, Shepherd, but to me that face says there's Corgi in there somewhere! We adopted Shiloh from a rescue at 3 months old after someone discovered her and her litter mates thrown in a dumpster. She has always been timid, but as our kids have aged and our house has become increasingly noisy and active Shiloh has become unhappy and spends most of her time hiding in the basement. Shiloh is good with kids, adults and other dogs (she's never been around cats) but she does need a quieter/calmer home. She also loves a good bone, chasing a ball in the backyard, running through the snow and laying in front of the fireplace! The only reason she's not up to date on shots is because she's not a fan of going places.

Story
Seven is an adorable goofball of a dog, basically a 70 pound dog that thinks she's a lapdog. She is a highly energetic girl that needs to be run out quite often, but when she is properly exercised she is an incredible girl- quiet, calm, and sweet. It is that energy that is part of why I'm not really able to take care of her any longer. My partner and I adopted her about a year ago from the IF animal shelter, wanting to get a first pet for our small apartment. At the time we thought we were able to take care of her, but then things only went downhill from there. At this point I'm unable to do much with her except fulfill her basic needs, and on top of this I'm planning on moving out of state within the year. I would be looking for a family/adopter that would be able to fulfill these needs, especially someone out here that would be able to hunt/work with her. She would be exceptional for that kind of family, but really she just needs someone who loves and can fully take care of her.

Story
These pups were with their Dad, where they could run in a yard and not be in the kennels much, but he has backed out and moved on without them. Dad is aware of their rehoming. My son and I have such busy schedules, we are home only 3 hours a day. The pups are kenneled at night when we sleep and during the day while we are at work/school. They are out of the kennels only a few hours on weekdays and it breaks my heart. They are 3-year old neutered, bonded labradoodles. Titan is an old soul. He’s smart and goes to the door to tell us it’s time to go out. He will love you forever if you start to pet him. He’ll even put his paw on you if he wants to be loved on. Tucker is a goof ball and can often be found sleeping in silly positions. Despite being smaller than Titan, he loves to eat and often finishes his meal before his brother. It breaks my heart to do this. I truly want to best for them and I know I can’t give them that.

Story
Hey there, potential human. I’m Oliver, a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, and I’m here to make your life approximately 1,000 times better. But let’s get a few things straight first: I like adults. Kids? Nope. Hard pass. They’re too loud, too sticky, and too unpredictable. If you’ve got tiny humans running around, I’ll be over here filing my resignation. I prefer to be your one and only. Other dogs? Meh. I tolerate larger, polite female dogs, but honestly? I’d rather have all your attention to myself. Think of me as a loyal, slightly dramatic best friend who doesn’t want to share you with anyone else. I’m a gentleman. I’m house-trained, walk nicely on a leash, and don’t act like a total maniac. I have mature, distinguished energy—none of that wild puppy nonsense. I’m here for chill walks, deep eye contact, and meaningful companionship. I’d thrive in a calm, quiet, kid-free home where I can bask in the glory of being your one and only. I promise to be your shadow, your confidant, and your reason for canceling plans (because why go out when you could stay home and hang out with me?). So, if you’re looking for a handsome, intelligent, independent-yet-cuddly dog who has strong opinions about children and other pets, then guess what? You just found your perfect match. Now, let’s get this adoption thing rolling—I’m ready to be your one true Oliver.

Story
Cash is a handsome 4-year-old male German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and potential. He came to us as a stray, a bit underweight & in need of some extra TLC. Cash has likely experienced neglect in the past, & now all he wants is to be close to people who will give him the care & structure he deserves. He’s very sweet & incredibly smart—ready to learn and eager to please his new family! Cash would thrive with a family who can provide structure & a fenced yard where he can safely run & play. He’s shown no signs of trying to escape the yard at the shelter, though he might jump a little for attention (who can blame him?). This playful guy loves a good game of fetch & has plenty of energy for outdoor fun. We haven't seen Cash with kids but he's likely good with kids 10+ who can handle his size & energy (since he likes to jump but we're working on it!) He’s not house trained & needs space for safe, warm, and outdoor time. Cash gets along well with other dogs & would make a fantastic companion for a canine friend. With some patience & positive guidance, he’s bound to blossom into an amazing dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving buddy with lots of potential, Cash might be the perfect match.
