Story
We adopted Charlie Bear from the pound. We don't know what his history is, but we do know that he is a great dog. Because of his size (125 lbs), he seems intimidating. But he's a big softie. He loves to play, is very food motivated, and great with dogs, cats, and kids. Ideally he would need a big yard, where he can explore and play. He needs leash training, due to his size, we were unsuccessful in that area. But with patience and more knowledge, he would do great. He's very loving, and has a huge personality. He loves stuffed animals, but will destroy them quickly lol. Keep-away is his favorite game. We are moving to an apartment 2500 miles away, and he would not do well being so contained, without a yard to play in. He deserves a loving home with someone who would be able to devote time and energy to match his.

Story
I adopted Jada for a shelter 3.5 months ago. She’s a 1.75 year old spayed pit bull mix. Jada needs an active family who is willing to spend time training her. I am unable to give her enough consistent exercise. Jada is very sweet and cuddly if she’s had enough exercise. She’s playful and very smart. She’s highly food motivated and very athletic. She loves to run and jump. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend a home with small children. Jada has anxiety, particularly around separation and confinement. She needs someone to work with her on these issues with positive reinforcement. We’ve made progress, but I think consistent exercise like running, long hikes, etc. is the secret to Jada making true progress. Jada is easy to train with a clicker and treats. She knows sit, down, stay, look at me, and come pretty reliably.

Story
Lucy is an amazing Dalmatian/Blue Heeler mix. She is a very calm, gentle, and loving dog who gets along with every dog and person she has ever met. She likes to cuddle, run, hike, swim, and above all else loves to play fetch. She has no problem lounging around until she gets a chance to go run and play and is happy to do so at any time. We just want her to go to a home where she will be loved and get to play and exercise with a family that cherishes her. Lucy loves other dogs, cats, and kids and will be happy in any home.

Story
Tater Tot is a 2 1/2 year old. He is a very sweet lovable and loyal companion. He protects his brother Kobe (chihuahua). He has spent 5 weeks at a training camp. He does have some issues with other dogs, children and is a barker. He needs a home with someone that has time to work with him an ideal person would be a trainer or a retired couple. He is also kennel trained. I just don’t have the time or patience for him anymore.

Story
Meet Sage! This 1-year-old Corgi/Border Collie mix is a 33-pound lap dog with a heart full of love. Spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, Sage is ready for her forever home. She’s playful and gets along best with dogs her size or smaller, ideally a male, or she'd thrive as an only dog. Sage isn’t into fetch yet but loves joining the chase! She’s incredibly affectionate, adores kids, and rides well in the car. Sage is very intelligent and treat-motivated, she's potty-trained, kennel-trained, and learning to ring a bell to go outside. She’s working on greeting politely, has a good recall, and balances playtime with snuggles perfectly. If you’re looking for a loyal, soft, and lovable companion, Sage could be your perfect match! Background: Sage spent her first year in rural Idaho on 10 acres. She grew up around children, chickens, and another dog. Her owners no longer had time to dedicate to her so she was surrendered to find a better suited home.

Story
I got her from the shelter in July, as an ESA. They told me she was mild to moderate energy, which is not the case at all. She's very high energy, loves being outside, loves car rides. As soon as she hears the door she's right there waiting to go out and run. She's super sweet, her high energy however just makes me anxious and I don't have the time for a high energy dog. I feel really bad, she's super loving and very good with kids. I just want her to find a good home who can take her to do things like she deserves. She comes with 2 bags of dog food.
