Story
Available 5/28/2024 This is Guinness, he is definitely one of a kind. This boy loves to play with toys but he is odd since he just loves playing on his own. He will run around you with all the toys he can grab and throw them around. You know if he could talk he would be saying "watch me!" He has a very unique scar on his forehead which he had before he came here to the shelter. We think he is some type of border collie mix. He is incredibly energetic and needs to get his wiggles out. We have noticed that Guinness is much better around neutered male dogs. Females he is fine as well as neutered males. He is not yet neutered and that may change with time, we just want people to be aware. Come in and meet this pup and maybe take him home! Inquires are on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in adoption feel free to stop by, call us, or message us on Facebook. Story
Available 09/20/2024 This is Balto, to the best of our knowledge he is a full bred Siberian Husky. This boy has tons of energy and he is incredibly athletic. He is able to jump our 8 foot fences here at the shelter. He seems to be okay with other dogs, but would need a lot of training to be around cats. Without that he cannot be in a home with cats. He's a very smart boy and he picks up on things quickly. He would need an active lifestyle to keep his mind entertained. Come in and meet his charming young lad. Inquires and adoptions are on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in adoption feel free to stop by, call us, or message us on Facebook. Story
Available 11/12/2024 This is Scotty, he is a border collie terrier mix. This sweet boy came to the shelter unexpectedly when his owner passed away and there was no one to take him. He needs a home where he will continue to be loved. He is around 3 years old, not neutered, and he is used to being in an apartment. From what we have observed he seems to do okay around other dogs. We do not know about cats. Come meet this sweet boy and lets get him a new home! Inquires are on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in adoption feel free to stop by, call us, or message us on Facebook. Story
Sig is 2 years old. He is a very sweet dog. Loves people and other animals. He has been to basic and off leash training and did very well. He reacts to emotions more than any other dog I've ever seen, and would do very well in a home with softer personalities. I originally got him to be trained as a bird dog for hunting, but he is timid around loud noises and things he is unfamiliar with. I don't dare try to gun train him because I think it would affect him negatively.

Story
Tyler comes from a home where he was kenneled with a couple of other dogs since he was a puppy and didn’t have much training or socialization with his owners. Despite this, he is a very loving dog who wants you to love on him! He probably should be in a home where he is the sole pet, someplace where his new family can give him the time and attention he craves. We live near cows, and with calving season coming and his lack of training, we hope he can find a place to live before we are forced to re-kennel him or put him in a shelter for his own safety and the safety of the new calves.
