Story
Whiskey is a sweet, fun loving and active girl! She is around 7 months old. She is a husky/lab/ greyhound at least that is what we have been told. This girl does like to cause some mischief when she gets bored so an active family with a fenced yard is a must! Antlers and toys that are indestructible are also a good help for keeping her out of trouble most of the time. She is great with other dogs though she isn't the best at understanding when they have had enough of her puppy energy. She would do best in a home where she has another dog friend to burn her energy and continue teaching her how to dog! She is working on walking on a leash. She is mostly housetrained. She is great with dog savvy cats but I would say no kittens for her at this point as she doesn't understand how big she is and wants to play with them a bit too rough. She is starting to like her kennel more but is a barker when you leave so apartment living isn't going to be the best option for her. She is ready to find her new family to continue teaching her how to be the best dog out there.

Story
Meet Skitz & Ace – The Tiny Tag Team You Didn’t Know You Needed! Behold: a very official father-son chihuahua power duo. Skitz is the dad—a wise, leash-walking, house-trained gentleman with smooth brown fur and the soul of a tiny cowboy. His son Ace? A two-year-old black chihuahua with major “hold my juice box” energy and a heart full of love (and possibly beans). These two are inseparable. They cuddle together. They zoom together. They’ve got matching struts when they walk down the sidewalk like they own the block. You will never pee alone again. Their former owner had to seek treatment and, more than anything, wanted these two cuties to land in a loving home where couch cuddles are a daily requirement and squeaky toys are always within reach. Skitz is great with cats, other dogs (most of the time), and polite kids over 10. He’s calm, collected, and low-key judging all your life choices (with love). Ace is still learning the ropes but follows his dad’s lead and loves being part of the pack. They’re small. They’re mighty. They’ll burrow under every blanket you own and take up more space in your heart than you thought possible. Adopt Skitz and Ace: because every household deserves a little bit of chihuahua chaos and a whole lot of love.

Story
Nahlee isn’t just a dog—she’s an experience. She’s the type of dog you don’t just adopt, you connect with. Her former owner called her the most fantastic dog they’ve ever owned—and not lightly. Nahlee has been deeply loved, cherished, and her person has made the impossible decision to let her go, solely so she can live a life better suited to who she is becoming. Nahlee is full of love, energy, and the kind of soulful presence that makes a home feel whole. She adores her humans—especially when they come equipped with sweaters, toys, blankets, and an open lap. She’s affectionate, silly, and the kind of girl who will lean into your chest and give you a kiss like it’s the only thing on her to-do list for the day. But Nahlee has also been through some tough stuff. After a fight with an older resident dog, something shifted in her. She became more anxious, more alert. Things that didn’t scare her before—birds, sunglasses, hoodies—suddenly seemed overwhelming. She’s had to be on edge, and that’s no way to live for a dog so full of love. She needs a calm, safe space. A home where she’s the only pet. Where yelling isn’t a regular thing. Where she can be goofy and free and wrapped in a sweater like the princess she is. She’s powerful and focused—when she wants something, she really wants it. And she’ll need someone experienced enough to respect that strength and help her feel secure. Her past person misses her deeply and prays every day that she’ll find someone who sees the good in her the way they did. Because it’s there. In spades. She’s not perfect, but she is perfect for the right person. If you’re someone with a peaceful home, an open heart, and a soft spot for big dogs with even bigger emotions—Nahlee is waiting for you. She gives kisses freely. She’s sensitive. She’s silly. She’s trying her best.

Story
Prepare to fall head over heels for Zeus, the little warrior who’s overcome more in his young life than most dogs ever will—and somehow still greets the world with love in his eyes and a wiggle in his tail. Zeus beat the odds as a tiny pup, surviving a severe case of parvo that tragically took all his littermates. Not long after, he endured a traumatic attack by a larger dog that left his skull injured. His head healed with a slight deformity—one that doesn’t affect his health at all and, frankly, just makes him even more uniquely adorable. Despite everything, Zeus is full of sweetness and resilience. He was recently surrendered when the dogs in his home began bullying him, and things became too unsafe for him to stay. But even through that, Zeus has shown his gentle nature and incredible spirit. He’s been friendly and calm with the dogs in the kennels near him (so, we would call him dog-selective) and has proven to be wonderful with children. He’s sensitive and loving—just needs someone who can offer patience, structure, and plenty of lap time. Zeus does have a little anxiety (can you blame him?), and he's a bit of a Houdini—known to escape kennels and clear fences with LeBron-level hops. A secure environment and someone who understands his energy and need for reassurance will help him thrive. He walks beautifully on a harness, and once you sit with him, maybe turn on a little classical music, you’ll see him melt—head in your lap, eyes closed, finally at peace. Zeus is truly a one-of-a-kind dog: brave, goofy, affectionate, and deserving of a home that makes him feel safe, loved, and celebrated for exactly who he is. Come meet this special boy—you’ll never forget the dog with the crooked head and the biggest heart
