Story
Hank is a sweet 7 year old dog that needs a home where he can quietly rest and be someone’s companion. He is low maintenance but does have anxiety around thunderstorms and requires extra TLC during those times! His ideal home would be one where he is the only pet, no small children, and open areas where he can run and sunbathe to his heart‘s content.

Story
Please meet Dixie! Dixie is a female Lab mix that we rescued from the Atlanta Humane Society in April of 2024 and weighs 59 pounds. Dixie loves food and all toys that you could place in front of her. Dixie has been house-trained and responds exceptionally well to "leave it", "wait" and "free!!" We are still working on "sit", "shake" and a few others, but she responds well to the ones mentioned above, she has also been spayed and limited professional training. Unfortunately, Dixie does have a bit of fear & anxiety (separation) and will look to always be by your side. We have recently placed her on Paroxetine to help her with this condition. Our home situation is a busy one, with one other dog in the house as well. A 3 year old Shepherd mix named Scout. The two of them got along for 5 months well. As Dixie has matured the dominant traits in both (female) dogs has come forth and our situation has become untenable. Dixie will need a single dog home for this reason. Thank you!

Little Guy

Husky Mixed Breed (Medium)

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Little Guy is a sweet, spoiled boy that likes nothing better than spending time with his people. He would be a wonderful pup to go hiking with on leash. He and his brother, Dozer, are avid critter chasers and will dig after those critters if not watched. The Husky in him means he needs to stay on a leash but the lab does calm him down some. He still has a lot of puppy in him but has outgrown the worst puppy traits. He also doesn’t mind his crate for short periods and sees it as a safe spot to take a nap. He loves children but may be a bit much for some very small children. He loves to give kisses and attention and small children are the right size to be face to face for those kisses. He also thinks he is a lap dog at times and loves snuggling on the couch. Little Guy can be a little shy around other new dogs and may take a little warming up, he has been around many different foster dogs though. He is on the smaller size, thus his name. If you are looking for a very loyal, loving smaller sized pup then Little Guy may be the perfect addition to your family. The boys have had all of their vaccines, been microchipped and neutered and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.
