Story
My dog Faith has been with us from a puppy. She has never bit anyone. She was good with all of our children and grandchildren. She never tears anything up in the house. She’s a very calm dog. She’s probably the best dog I’ve ever had out of many dogs. I can’t take her with me because I’m moving to another country or I would.

Story
A PERFECT 10!!!! Coupe is a super sweetheart who loves people of all sizes. He is an around 6 year old boxer/lab mix and has a perfect little pout face. Coupe has been returned to our rescue three times, although everyone described him as perfect!!! Coupe has always committed to his people and needs a forever home that will commit to him, regardless of life changes. Coupe is good with other dogs and kids, house and crate trained, calm but active (makes a good running partner) fun, friendly…..the list could go on and on. He loves to play fetch, if that means get the ball and run around with it. He can be a little head strong on a leash and will continue to need guidance with leash manners. He isn’t the best match for cats. Coupe whines with excitement when he gets attention from people. He can be vocal when he plays because he is so excited to be involved with his people and loved. He has some skin allergies that have to be monitored and are managed with baths, food and allergy medication.

Rebel is a funny dude and will dance when he is excited. He likes playing with toys with his person. He loves affection which makes boarding an extra stressor for him. He needs someone who wants an awesome dog that will include him in their lives for the rest of his.

Hadley is nine years old. Hadley is house and crate trained. She is a calmer gal with spurts of energy, mostly due to excitement from seeing her person. She does fine with most other laid back playful doggie friends. She doesn’t mix well with cats. She is obsessed with her people. She loves tummy rubs and Nylabones, the bigger the better. She is on prescription food for urinary issues. If interested, please message for an application. All animals in the home must be up to date on vaccinations, flea/heartworm prevention and spay/neutered.

Story
Sam is a three year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is looking for a good home where he can share his love and energy. He was recently hit by a car and because of a good Samaritan, was taken to a vet and is doing much better. He will have scars from the road rash but does not seem to have any other long lasting effects. Sam sat at a vet’s office for months waiting on someone to take him home but no one ever came so now it is our turn to try to help him. Sam is friendly, playful, and energetic. He is enthusiastic when he interacts with people and usually jumps for joy. Despite these manners, Sam is a perfect gentleman and brings a level of happiness and companionship wherever he goes. He does well on a leash and is house and crate trained. Sam is heartworm positive. He does well with most dogs, but will demand a playful response… no grumpy butts in his future. Cats are unknown

Story
Elvis is being returned to the rescue because his family is too busy for him. Elvis was a challenging dog but showed to respond VERY well to structure, training and being active. He is an excellent companion for a family with experience. Elvis is a 2 year old terrier mix. He has a lot of energy that can be channeled into a good long walk or playing with other dogs. He does great at doggie daycare and one-on-one playdates with other dogs with similar high energy. He loves taking walks but is still working on perfecting leash walking manners, especially when he gets excited. He is working on "saying hi" to strangers and maintaining his excitement. Elvis just LOVES everything. He knows how to sit, laydown, shake, touch, wait, leave it and rollover. He is super smart and learned how to heal and jump over obstacles in less than a week. When he gets over excited, he jumps, nips and pushes. He is also actively working on some leash reactivity when he sees other dogs, simply because he desperately wants to play with everyone. The best home for him would be someone who can be available to exercise him daily and a doggie playmate and a very predictable routine. Until he can get his jumping, barking and reactivity under control, I'd also recommend no small children. Elvis loves cats but they may not love him. He would do great with another active dog and adults. He may not do well in an apartment and would need a quieter home due being easily startled and will bark. He has shown to do well on a mild medication for anxiety.
