She is a sweet, quiet, calm girl who loves walks and to lounge about. She is good with children. Older preferred due to her size. Applejack would prefer an to be the only dog. No other animals please! This loving girl would be a great companion for the right person!

We received Kimbo from our neighbor who no longer wanted him. He was friendly with our dog so we took him in. He is a very lovely dog but he has caused severe allergies for our children. Additionally he does have hip dysplasia. DOB: Oct 2020.

We adopted Jessy from a Petco Adoption event when she was 4 months old. She is currently 6 years old. We think that Jessy would flourish in a quiet home that does not have a lot of people going in and out. She sometimes gets nervous and is afraid of strangers which is stressful for both her and the family because she barks when she is nervous. We would describe Jessy as fun (as long as she is around her family), and sweet. She loves to get brushed, but does not like going for walks as she becomes afraid. She is gentle with children and is not a threat. She is also house-trained.

Fostered in CT for A Dog Named Black Jack Animal Rescue. He’s an approximately 1.5 year old intact (pending neuter) 50lb male husky pulled all the way from a California high kill shelter moments before being euthanized. He is friendly, gentle, and affectionate with people and loves other dogs. He would do great with a dog companion of a similar size and energy level. No small animals or cats though, since he does have a high husky prey drive. He is quiet in the car, walks great on a leash, and would make a fantastic running/hiking buddy. He does have some separation anxiety, which is expected after all he’s been through. Because of this, a home with another dog would be ideal, or someone who either works from home or is able to spend time making sure he feels safe when alone. He doesn’t have any issues with food or resource guarding and allows all handling! A fenced in yard is required, no electric fences. Adoption fee TBD usually ~$400. Max is a 6 year old Australian shepherd border collie! His family died on him. Actually one did and the other needs assisted living. Poor guy. He’s a good boy. Walks on leash. He seems okay when he sees most dogs when walking. He never lived with children. He has when he was younger lived with a cat. He also has played with my dogs a few years ago. See he is in Ohio. I live in Connecticut. I go back and forth. I’m looking for his vet records. When his family was healthy they had him up to date on vaccinations and on a flea and tick protocol. He also went to the groomers regularly. But I’m not sure how long ago now. He sleeps at night and doesn’t usually wake you up unless you sleep in real late. He loves walks. I don’t see evidence of food allergies. He really is a good boy and I don’t want money. I want a good home for him
