Story
Meet Coco! Coco came to us from a high-intake shelter in Denver. She originally came from a hoarding situation and didn't test well at the shelter due to being overwhelmed and scared. (Who can blame her?!) Coco has blossomed in foster care and absolutely adores being a beloved member of the family. Due to Coco's background, she is looking for a patient home that will allow her time to decompress and transition. Once won over, she is the perfect canine companion. She is affectionate, funny, playful, and well-behaved. She adores playing and gently wrestling with both canine and feline friends, playing with squeaky toys, and burrowing in blankets. Her snuggling skills are unmatched and she is never far from her people in case a cuddling opportunity arises. Due to her background, she still has some lingering stranger danger and requires slower introductions with new people. (She can sometimes alarm bark and be skittish when new people try to interact with her.) Nothing crazy, just slower speed with copious amounts of treats and chest scratches. Also due to her background, she would prefer a home without young children as they easily overwhelm her. She would love a home where she can be a homebody and have a relatively consistent schedule. While a backyard is not an adoption requirement, she is still mastering her leash skills and will need additional time and training to be a leashed pro. (Furthermore, she loves sunbathing on the outdoor patio!) And while also not a set requirement, she would really enjoy another canine or feline companion to play and cuddle with. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and charming friend, consider adding Coco to your home today! Coco is a 4.5-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, dental, and spay. This dog is also tested with other dogs, cats, kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Lara is a petite little thing weighing in at 22 pounds. She is fun, affectionate, and athletic. She is respectful of other dogs’ boundaries and doesn’t bat an eye over the energy of the two resident children. She enjoys toys, bones, sunbathing, and anything involving play. She takes zoomies very seriously and would love a home with another playful dog. While she does not lack energy, she is always happy to curl up on the couch and binge whatever you’re into. Especially if you share your popcorn. Lara is kennel trained, housebroken, and a whiz at the dog door. This dog is the best and you don’t want to miss out on adding her to your home. If Lara sounds like your girl, go fill out an application at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Lara is a 6-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lara is also tested with other dogs, children, kennel trained, and housebroken. Story
This 1-year-old, 50lb, cattle dog/pit bull terrier mix is not just beauty, but brains. He picks up new tricks with ease and could probably solve a Rubik’s Cube if he had opposable thumbs. He adores other dogs, cats, and children. He is equal parts athletic and cuddly, and would benefit from a home that would like to go on a Saturday morning hike and then binge a Netflix series in the afternoon. Carl is a goofball and would like a home with a good sense of humor. He doesn’t take life too seriously and thinks neither should you. He is housebroken, kennel trained, great on a leash, and would love a home with another playful canine companion and fenced backyard. If Carl sounds like your future family member, you can find our application www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Carl is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children. This dog is kennel trained and housebroken. We would love for you to meet Carl and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
