Story
Meet Barley, a rescue from South Korea with a birthday on September 10, 2020. Unfortunately, I'm moving abroad and can't take him with me. Once he warms up to you, he's a sweet and cuddly companion, but it can take some time for him to feel comfortable. He does have a history of biting when strangers enter the home, so new owners will need to be cautious in that regard. Barley gets along well with other dogs, but, again, he'll need some time to adjust to a new furry friend. He loves walks, hikes, and bike rides, but he also enjoys lounging on the couch and sunbathing. I'm looking for a loving new home that will cherish Barley as much as I do. I will include all of his belongings, such as his bed and leash, with him. Thank you for considering giving Barley a new home!

Story
hello there, my name is India and I am starting the search for my home. I have come a long way these past months in my foster home, but still have a ways to go. For now I would do best as the only pet in the home, and a quieter home would be ideal for me. I am more comfortable around females, and preferably one that works from home and isnt gone much. I do great in the car though, so you can take me with you wherever you go. I bond very strongly to my human and want to be with them all the time. I enjoy playing with toys and going for walks. I'm a very cute fluffy little bear and am a very good snuggler. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##1591980##

Story
Hey guys, its me Maverick and I am looking for a new home preferably with another dog friend my size and people who can dedicate some time to training and socializing me. I do really well at doggie daycare and at the dog park - I love to run and play with other dogs. I am potty trained, sleep through the night in my bed, and know “sit, lay down, off, and go to bathroom”  and am working on “focus, wait, go to bed and place”. I enjoy going for walks but need some work on my leash manners (I really want to chase the bunnies and squirrels). I love to play with toys, especially enrichment ones (lick mats, snuffle mats, puzzle games), and of course bones and treats.   I enjoy watching all the people walking by my house.  I may have a little bit of separation anxiety when alone, so building a routine and having a doggie friend may help. I’m wary of some strangers and will need time to warm up. I know that with some people dedicated to my training that I can be the bestest boy - will you take a chance on me? If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  The rescue also provides free weekly training classes that I have been coming to and continue to come to for as long as needed!  ##1801151##

Story
Hi my name is Graham. I was adopted from the rescue 5 years ago, but along the way I decided I wanted to live the bachelor lifestyle, kids and other dogs are not for me!  I'm 7-10 years ago and a very handsome chiweenie.  I am looking for a quieter home where I can enjoy 1-2 adult humans' company. I am very cuddly and sweet and love to snuggle. I am very smart. I walk well on leash, am mostly trusted off leash, and enjoy a short run or hike. Like a lot of dogs my size, I bark at other dogs on leash, but usually am fine once I can get close to them and give them a good sniff. I dont mind hanging with other dogs outside of the house, but inside I want to be your one and only and get lots of attention! Looking for someone to sit on your lap? Look no further!  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $150 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##957049##

Story
Hi there, my name is Leila. I'm the best dog greeter in my doggie daycare. I love balls and toys, going for car rides and love to play with dogs and people.  I walk well on leash, but am scared of bikes and scooters - wheelie things are weird!  I'm pretty easy going in the house though, day to day life with me is pretty easy. I'm a sweet girl, but have a few quirks Im still working through. I have a little bit of stranger danger when first meeting new people, but warm up fairly quickly especially with good snacks. Because of this I will need an experienced adopter dedicated to manging my environment and keeping me out of trouble. I am great with other dogs after a proper intro. The rescue trainer will provide a few free sessions (in person or online depending on location) with my adopters to ensure that I am set up for success! I am extremely affectionate and loveable. I have a million facial expressions. I love being outside and playing in the snow. I would make a great addition to an active home preferably with another dog!  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations for my age ##2079620##

Story
Hi I’m Java!  Me and my 12 other siblings have made our way to CO from Roswell, NM after being orphaned and rescued right before the flooding.  Me and 6 of my Breakfast Club siblings have found love, food, and fun at our fosters with The Good Dog Rescue!  I love attention.  I like to wrestle, play with toys, the big adult dogs and the people!  I don’t love being locked up in the kennel as much as my sister does.  I want to be where action is!  I do settle down and love a good cuddle and may even fall asleep in your arms! Live and love hard and then nap hard too!  You can meet me at a special adoption event on Dec 7th from 11-2 at Nurture Wellcare Marketplace (2949 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211). Please fill out an application before coming!  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!). **Note - I am not quite adoptable yet, but am starting the hunt for my forever home!!** My adoption fee is $400 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations for my age  ##2214948##
