Story
Smokie is a gsd, husky, malamute, cattle dog who is 2.5 years old. Smokie is shy at first but if you have a squeaky tennis ball or yummy treats, you can win him over. He is more afraid of men and a bit barky but he does come around. He loves to play fetch, has good house manners and is kennel trained. Smokie does have a high prey drive so no cats or small critters. He has attended daycare and did best with females, We recommend no children of any age as they could be a bit overwhelming for him. Smokie can be timid when outside of home, meeting people or being in active places. But foster mom says he has made great strides and just needs practice. We are asking for a quiet home in an area with not a lot of traffic or noise. Because he loves to run, jump and play, his own backyard is a must. Smokies person will need to have some patience and time to work with him on his social skills. Story
Tulip is about 4 years old and what a sweetie she is. Being a pointer, she does have a high prey drive so no little critters. Tulip rides okay in the car, she is excited to get out and explore. She loves walks and will need more practice to not pull. Tulip is housetrained to use a dog door and leaves human things alone. Tulip was found living on the streets almost starved to death. She is now ready to have her very own family to love on. She enjoys being where her humans are at but is not an overly affectionate girl. She will be ok as the only dog but can also share a home with another calm doggie. Due to her mature nature older children would be recommended. If you would like to know more about her please submit your application https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/adopt/

Story
Casey is about 2 years old and was pulled from a Texas shelter where her owner left her. She is shy at first and timid around men. She does come around pretty quick but would do best with a female in the home.. She is good with most dogs but not a fan of high energy or pushy dogs. Casey has met a cat, and it would be best for no kitties in the home. She is house trained to use a dog door, sleeps in a kennel or in bed with you. She loves car rides and pulls just a bit on walks. We are looking for a forever home but she could benefit from a foster home now. If interested please submit your app with https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/adopt/

Story
Colton is a silky soft 1.5 yr old boy who is ready to charm his new family. He has lots of energy to do anything you may want including car rides, playing with toys, and walks. He can be a couch spud if you are busy, just give him a toy and he's good to go.. He is housetrained, quiet in his kennel and respect human things. Due to him being a strong boy we would suggest older kids only so he doesn't knock them down when playing. Colton has a bit of a dominate personality and would do best as your only pet. We can use a new foster home if you are not ready to adopt. Please visit our website and select your choice - foster or adopt. https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/

Story
Arlo is just short of being 2 years old and he is on the hunt for his forever family. Being he is a Belgian Malinois you must be familiar with the breed and know how to work with them. Arlo is a sweet boy who loves people but requires a strong handler to keep his attention. He loves to train and learn new tricks especially when cookies are involved. Arlo walks great on leash and will heal with the command. He is good with other dogs but does have a few issues with toys and food, so it would be best he be the only pet in your home. Arlo needs a home where there are no young children as they can stress him out with their energy. He does have a high prey drive so no cats or small critters. Arlo graduated from a training program so he knows all the commands. If you are interested in our special boy please submit your application - https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/adopt/

Husky German Shepherd Dog

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sky is about 2 years old and she’s had a rough start to life but is much better now and looking for a loving family. Just guessing but we think she is part husky – on the small side – german shepherd dog and terrier. Sky needs some work with her confidence, so she needs a patient family with no young kids to grow. Sky was found living on the streets in south Texas and sadly that life teaches a dog to always be on the lookout for harmful things. Sky was diagnosed with an immune disorder but can easily be managed with meds that are not expensive. She would thrive with another male dog buddy but can also be the only pet, no cats for this kiddo. If you are interested in our sweet girl, please submit your app - https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/
