Story
Kaine has had a rough life. He was found as a stray in Potter Valley with bullets all over him!. His finder couldn’t keep him so off to the county shelter he went. After a month in his kennel, he is loosing interest in life and is at THE TOP of the euthanasia list…. Kaine was a volunteer favorite and we have been asked to save him. With no where for him to go we were hopeful that someone would step up and offer foster him. A wonderful community member heard our cry for help! PS We have a part time foster who cannot adopt due to medical issues, we are hoping to find a foster or adopter share mendoshelterpets.org 707-972-9359 Here is what the shelter says about Kaine: “Mixed Breed male, 5 years old and 60 pounds Kaine is friendly, easy going, and likes being around people. He’s very easy to leash up and enjoys going for walks. Kaine knows sit and takes treats gently from your hand. Kaine also has good indoor manners. We know this sweet guy would LOVE a backyard, where he can stretch out and soak in the rays! There are advantages to adopting an older dog, i.e. they are usually house trained, know some commands, and probably won’t race around the house as much!!!” If you are interested in meeting Kaine give us a call or complete an application today! Story
Izzy has an off-the-charts-IQ, she’s an expert at getting what she wants and she’s over-the-top enthusiastic in all she does. This makes sense to us! You’ve only got one life- might as well live it with all you got! Our dearest girl is waiting for her forever home… 3+ years… can you help us get her what she wants? Her own human, a crook of the neck to snuggle in, a snoozy couch to call her own? https://www.mendoshelterpets.org She loves snuggles, zzy knows, she just does. She wiggles and worms her way into your lap, she’s infamous for putting her head on your shoulder and giving you cute whiskery kisses. She’s a major snuggle bug! Izzy loves to play, do zoomies and speed through life but she’s the first to calm and gravitate to you for LOVE. This girl missed her puppy play time, she missed having a loving home yet she’s so in tune to people. She listens well, her eyes sparkle with human attention and she loves to be the center of all attention. Our girl is the perfect size medium dog. She LOVES Car Rides. We won’t just give her to anyone, she’s special, she needs the best! She needs you! Meet IZZY today!
