Story
Tessa is a sweet dog, approximately 1 year old. She is about 12 lbs. She loves walks and being around her people. She is not aggressive, and never bites. Occasionally gets excited in new situations but she is trainable. She is happy to be pet and touched, and is comfortable taking showers and being held. She has learned basic toilet skills and is now only relieving herself outside. We adopted hoping she would get along with our three cats. Unfortunately, while she has been making progress, our cats have not been happy in the situation. We believe she would be a better fit in another home without cats. She is typically quiet, but does whine for a bit when left alone. Gets excited when passing people on bikes or people running and will let out some barks. Very good on walks and doesn’t pull on the leash.

Story
Banksy was brought here from middle america , he is sweet and loving dog. He is going to be 1 year old, Sadly i had a change in my business and home and can sadly can no longer care for him so I have to rehome him , which i prefer doing sooner rather than later. He is still a puppy so he can completely adapt to a new home. Hopefully with an outdoors that he can play in .

Story
Rico is a wonderful , sweet pure black Labrador that weighs around 40-45pounds. He was born on May 2021 and was purchased from a breeder. . We rescued this precious boy on February 2023 , after major earthquake that hit eastern Turkey. At the time, he was living in that area and sadly his owners didn't make it. After rescuing him, we were able to move him to western Turkey and kept him safe for a year . He arrived USA recently and now ready for adoption. About his personality ; he is the most loving , kind, gentle, sweet dog that we have seen. He has been wonderful with everyone he meets and he grew up with kids , he is excellent with all size kids, including infants. He did well with a cat in his foster home in Turkey, but he tried chasing feral cats. Rico is a Velcro dog, he will follow his person to every where, loves to touch and loves to be petted, loves to snuggle. He is wonderful with other dogs, goes to dog parks and does very well. He is housebroken and knows to use doggie door. He walks really well on leash , since he is so easy we use just a regular harness on him. This special boy has been through a lot and needs a wonderful home.

Story
Located in Temecula, CA Jesse came to us as a stray from a shelter in the LA area. He is about 3 years old and we suspect he is a sprocker(cocker/springer mix). He was very afraid of his world when he arrived. He has been working with a trainer for many months as we fully believed in him and that he deserved a chance at a good life. His trainer has done wonders with Jesse and says he is a great dog.. Jesse will make a great hiking buddy and ball fetching companion. Yet he also enjoys just hanging out and chilling in the house. Jesse does have a prey drive so cats or other small animals in the house are a no. Jesse would do best in an adult only home or with teenagers that fully understand dog etiquette. He can live with a female dog that respects his space. He is about 35 pounds, up to date on his vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. Jesse is leash trained and house trained. Jesse will thrive in a home where he gets mental and physical stimulation, and a commitment to follow the transition plan from the trainer. There are two aftercare lessons included with Jesse's training program; one in-home and one at the facility that are required for Jesse to be successful. If you are interested in Jesse, please complete the CA adoption application. https://www.springerspanielrescue.org/california-adoption-application?fbclid=IwY2xjawGeMWRleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHUwmOdzvVLdWI0qElT2VHKrM_suqIBiSPofJMzbrEnXGCi6K-ZWUDPPxBw_aem_NUYyizgEqvL0UWU79FtWMQ

Story
Located in Sacramento, CA McCabe or "Mac" as everyone calls him is a small liver/white (35#) springer. He came to SSRI after his owner unexpectedly passed away. He was an only dog for 7 years. He gets along well with his 2 springer foster buddies and other dogs he meets on his walks. His other springer buddies don't mind that Mac is a lap dog and has to be seated right next to his human. Because he is so attached to his human we think he should be an only dog again with no children. Mac knows all his commands; sit, down, stay and off leash recall is excellent. Walks perfect on a leash. He is not fond of the vacuum cleaner or other items that make alot of noise. He is getting better and just backs up but in the beginning he would run and hide and I would have to go looking for him. He wants to go everywhere with his human. He is too small to jump into the back of a SUV but stands up with his paws on the back so you can lift him up. Even though he is always ready for a car ride he gets anxious in the car. We have been working on his car skills and they are getting better but he still needs work. He needs to be crated or buckled in the car so he doesn't get overly anxious. If you are looking for a smaller springer he is quite the prize. If you are interested in Mac, please complete the application below and a volunteer will reach out to you. https://www.springerspanielrescue.org/available-springers...

Story
Nana was rescued from a high kill shelter located in Incheon, Korea. She came to us fearful of people and other animals, suggesting that she might have endured difficult experience at a young age. She was weak, dehydrated and suffering from malnutrition. Thanks to our foster mom, Nana made huge improvements and ready to meet her family. We are looking for a family who will continue to provide proper training. PLEASE NOTE: All of our recently rescued dogs are currently fostered in Seoul, Korea by our volunteers. Our adoption process may be stricter than any other rescue organization as these rescued dogs are traveling over 5500 miles to be with their new permanent family. You must be at least 25 years old to be considered an overseas adopter. For serious inquiries only. Please note, we monitor all pets after adoption. We prefer adopters that are active on any of the social media accounts. Thank you!
