Story
Atticus is a 4 year old Mastiff mix. He is a sweet boy who wants to love you and be with his humans. He is a typical mastiff mix with a lot of energy. He has never had the loving home that he deserves. He needs structure and has been failed by humans in his life :( Atticus has not had the stable and secure home to allow him to thrive. He is good with other dogs, is very curious, and enjoys playtime. He is jumpy dog, so he will need a home with loving parents who can correct a jumpy dog. I am connected to a trainer who loves Atticus and is committed to working with his adopters to help Atticus learn leash training. This trainer is a certified trainer who became a lead trainer at the pawsitive change prison programs. Will request any adopter to work with a trainer and set sweet Atticus up for success.

Story
Skippy - as I call her Skippers - is the sweetest german shepherd. So precious, so misunderstood. She has a anxious tick of chomping the air, and has thus been misunderstood. She was abandoned and in my foster care for the past 6 months. She's a sweetheart who is a "backend dog" - a dog that alerts the rest of the pack of any cues or danger. She is by nature more anxious, but she is gentle, loving and enjoys being on her own as well as with other dogs and people. Skippy would thrive in a home without other high energy dogs or young pups, and with people able to love her for who she is and her anxiousness, including her anxious tick. Skippy is connected to a certified trainer that I work with who is committed to working with Skippy's adopter on any training to help Skippy calm down her anxiety. In the right environment, with a forever family committed to her no matter what, Skippy will be a calm, thriving happy dog. She's ready to meet her parents!

Story
Rico is a wonderful , sweet pure black Labrador that weighs around 40-45pounds. He was born on May 2021 and was purchased from a breeder. . We rescued this precious boy on February 2023 , after major earthquake that hit eastern Turkey. At the time, he was living in that area and sadly his owners didn't make it. After rescuing him, we were able to move him to western Turkey and kept him safe for a year . He arrived USA recently and now ready for adoption. About his personality ; he is the most loving , kind, gentle, sweet dog that we have seen. He has been wonderful with everyone he meets and he grew up with kids , he is excellent with all size kids, including infants. He did well with a cat in his foster home in Turkey, but he tried chasing feral cats. Rico is a Velcro dog, he will follow his person to every where, loves to touch and loves to be petted, loves to snuggle. He is wonderful with other dogs, goes to dog parks and does very well. He is housebroken and knows to use doggie door. He walks really well on leash , since he is so easy we use just a regular harness on him. This special boy has been through a lot and needs a wonderful home.

Story
Loki is an adorable 2-3 years old terrier that weighs about 25pounds. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He has an adorable, cute personality that will make you smile all day. He is a calm dog in general, loves to hang out with his person and loves playing with dogs. He loves to talk and makes some cute noises. He is a very smart dog, learns everything pretty quickly. He is housebroken in his foster home and knows to use doggie door. He is wonderful with small and medium size dogs. He did well at the groomer, wasn't a big fan of getting his nails trimmed but they managed. He doesn't shed much at all. He is excellent with cats, when we found him, he was hanging out with 6-7 feral cats. He was found as stray and was michrocipped to a shelter . After rescuing him, we did general checked up and found out that his hip bones were crashed in the past (probably was hit by a car)and healed by itself ,if we didn't do X-rays, we probably never knew because he runs and walks just like any other dog.

Jesse

English Springer Spaniel Cocker Spaniel

Male, Young
Los Angeles, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Located in Temecula, CA Jesse came to us as a stray from a shelter in the LA area. He is about 3 years old and we suspect he is a sprocker(cocker/springer mix). He was very afraid of his world when he arrived. He has been working with a trainer for many months as we fully believed in him and that he deserved a chance at a good life. His trainer has done wonders with Jesse and says he is a great dog.. Jesse will make a great hiking buddy and ball fetching companion. Yet he also enjoys just hanging out and chilling in the house. Jesse does have a prey drive so cats or other small animals in the house are a no. Jesse would do best in an adult only home or with teenagers that fully understand dog etiquette. He can live with a female dog that respects his space. He is about 35 pounds, up to date on his vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. Jesse is leash trained and house trained. Jesse will thrive in a home where he gets mental and physical stimulation, and a commitment to follow the transition plan from the trainer. There are two aftercare lessons included with Jesse's training program; one in-home and one at the facility that are required for Jesse to be successful.
