Story
Hi! I`m Toto and I`m looking for a forever home with a family who has a lot of patience and love to give me while I learn how to trust.I`m about 7 years old and I`ve been at SPARC for qa few years now. I came here with several of my friends. They all got adopted, but I`m still waiting for my new family. Luckily, I went to live with a nice foster family for a while where I` learned lots of new things, like how to trust. One reason I`m probably still waiting for a home is because I never learned how to be touched. I`m shy and run away when people try to pet me. But that doesn`t mean I don`t like people because I really do love people. I`m just scared.I enjoyed following my foster mom everywhere she went, curling up next to her on the sofa and sunbathing in the backyard. I enjoyed playing with my foster dog sister and brother. Actually, I get along well with all small dogs, and here at SPARC I hang out with all the other little dogs while we wait for a home. I`m crate trained and I`m almost fully house trained, I would just need to learn the right place to pee in a new yard.I`m starting to understand and trust when people put their hand towards me (because they might have a treat!) You`ll have to be patient with me as it`s going to take a little longer before I`m comfortable enough to get petted. Will you please come and meet me and take me home where I can continue to learn to trust? I`ve been waiting such a long time, and I promise to love you with all my heart!!!

Story
Hi world! My name is Snow and I`m a pocket-pittie with a big personality! I am fun-loving, high-energy, toy-driven, food-driven, and affection-loving! I love to play fetch, go for long walks, play with other dogs, and learning tricks for treats. I am a super smart happy girl who will make a wonderful companion animal.Because I am so active, strong, fit, and attention-seeking, the staff recommends that I go to an active home that has previous dog experience. I am a GREAT dog and will need continued obedience training and socialization to keep me happy and help me be on my best behavior. I am very smart and energetic; I will need vigorous physical exercise everyday, mental exercise, and lots of love and attention. While I`ve done well in playgroup, the staff think I might do best as an only dog because I love attention and toys. I am a fantastic dog! If you are looking for a true `canine companion` and are someone who wants a dog to be a BIG part of your everyday life, I`m your girl. I will definitely be your BFF! Please submit an application for me today.

Patience is key, and with the right approach, you`ll see the warmth and loyalty that lies within me.When it comes to people, I appreciate those who understand my boundaries and give me the space I need to feel safe. While I might not be a fan of bustling environments or the energy of children, I can be a loving and loyal companion to the right adult who can provide me with a secure and patient environment. If you`re someone with a heart full of compassion, the patience to let trust grow, and the experience to guide a fellow soul on this journey, then I`m here to embark on this adventure with you Contact SPARC to set up a meet-and-greet – let`s create a connection that`s built on respect, understanding, and the promise of a bond that grows stronger with time. Story
It`s me, Mia, and I`m ready to pour my heart out from my point of view. You see, it takes me a little time to trust again, but when I do, I`m loyal to the core. I`ll need more than one meet-and-greet to feel completely comfortable, but I promise you, I`m worth the patience.I`m open to sharing my love with adults or older kids, and my heart is ready to form deep bonds. Plus, being a cattle dog mix, I thrive in an active environment. Long walks, playtime, and adventures are right up my alley. Here`s the thing - I can be reactive around other dogs, especially in my kennel. I might get a bit vocal and seem alarmed, but that`s just my way of saying. If you`re ready to be that special person, contact SPARC and let them know you want to meet Mia. Together, we`ll embark on a heartwarming journey filled with trust, love, and unforgettable moments. Come meet me today!
