Story
Starr is a love bug and loves people, but is still a great watch dog. She loves to get out and get exercise. She was rescued from the local pound. She has a crate, she isn’t crazy about being in it, but when given a nice treat she deals with it when she needs to be left alone. She’s very eager to please and knows sit, shake, other paw and down. She has lots of energy and thinks it’s her job to chase stray cats.

Story
We are looking for a forever home for this lovely boy! His name is Buddy. He is about 10-12 months old, he is fixed and has all of his shots except for DAPP. He is very energetic and loves to run. He’s got plenty of love to give, and he is good with kids. He hasn’t socialized a lot, so I’m unsure how he would do with other animals. Unfortunately we are not in a position to keep him. We don’t want to take him to the shelter. We really want to find a good home for him, and good people who will give him as much love as he is able to give to others. We got him from the shelter. He was found under a barn. Buddy is very skittish with people he doesn’t know, but will absolutely protect his family. Buddy will be a great fit for a family who has the time to take him to parks so he can get his energy out.

Story
Rambo is 3 years old about to be four this Oct 8th. He is a caring and goofy guy who loves playing, fetching, and exploring. I would hope his new home is with people that can keep up with his active life style as he is still pretty young and enjoys long walks/runs. He is very friendly both with humans and other dogs and we have never had any issues with him being aggressive despite not being fixed. I am looking to re-home him as I am going off to graduate school and will be apartment living where they do not allow dogs his size. I have tried looking with friends and family but there is no one that can give Rambo the adequate outdoor time he requires as a relatively young dog. He is very caring and sweet and while it pains me to have to re-home him I wish him to continue to have a good quality of life with someone who can meet his needs. He is not as vocal as I have seen most husky's be although he can be talkative from time to time when he wants extra attention.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Shep and I am a Pitbull mix! I am a very happy boy that loves to play and snuggle. I am looking for my furever home and have been for awhile now because most people are scared of me. I am such a lovebug I just wish people would give me a chance and get to know me better! I love people and I have several doggy besties that I play with. I'm easy-going, fun, snuggly, and playful. I am not a destructive dog and I really only bark when it's time to eat or someone rings the doorbell. I love to go for walks and I listen to commands very well. If you think that you would like to meet me please inquire. I've been waiting for someone to love me furever and I hope that I don't have to wait much longer...Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR.
