Shorty was rescued by another rescue organization on the streets of Woodland Hills. They were never able to find his owner. They had to shut down, so Paw Parent stepped in and took Shorty. Shorty has been looking for a home for quite some time as he was found at only about 2 years old. This sweet guy deserves a great home. He loves all people, but should be placed in a home with older children due to his strength. He has met a couple dogs he liked, but can be very selective. He loves to go on walks and absolutely loves to carry his ball around in his mouth. Shorty is a silly guy, and loves to play. Shorty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children. Once he knows you Chili is actually is a very loving and affectionate guy who loves to play, really likes toys and loves to play fetch. He walks on the leash like an angel but gets excited when he seed other dogs, but gets along fine when meeting them. Chili is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. He is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds.
