Story
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT  Nezhonic is a sweet female German Shepherd (possibly mixed breed). She weighs approximately 60 - 70 lbs, and is VERY friendly! She absolutely loves to meet new people and adores being loved on. Nezhonic was surrendered by someone who had her chained in their backyard along with a few other dogs. When we rescued her she was severly emaciated, matted, and covered in fleas and ticks. But her friendly, sweet spirit was not broken. She is good with other dogs when interacting directly but she does exhibit leash reactivity and will do best with an experienced dog owner who is committed to working on this behavior with her. She is very intelligent and will be an amazing companion for someone. She loves to play and go for walks. We think she is 1 - 2 years old.   Nezhonic is being fostered in Mountain View.  Her adoption fee is $200. She is spayed. ADOPTION INQUIRIES SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION FROM THE LINK ABOVE MAY NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from shelters where they are in danger. Our foster volunteers provide loving temporary homes for our rescued animals until they are adopted. By adopting a cat or dog, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years or more! We are committed to placing our rescued animals with families who are prepared for the responsibility of owning an animal for its entire lifetime, so that they are never again at the mercy of the shelter system.   January 1, 2025, 8:02 pm

Story
Pepsi came to me from a friend who could no longer care for her, so I took her in with the intention of fostering. She has been such a sweet, loyal girl, but I currently have too many dogs and I’m going through some personal things that make it hard for me to give her the time, attention, and consistency she deserves. She is a cuddly, loving, smart, and playful dog who enjoys being around people and other pets. Pepsi would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of affection, daily activity, and someone who can continue giving her the love and stability she needs. She deserves a family who can make her their priority and receive all the love she can get.

Story
Sally came into our lives last Christmas when we found her abandoned in a shopping cart. She was just a tiny puppy, cold, scared, and clearly hadn’t had an easy start. We brought her home, got her vetted, and gave her the love, safety, and stability she hadn’t known before. She is now about a year old — a sweet, athletic, intelligent girl who thrives with routine, structure, and activity. I’m looking for an adult-only, active home where she can continue to grow with people who understand her energy and enjoy training, hiking, and daily engagement. I would describe Sally as affectionate, playful, curious, energetic, smart, and very eager to please. She will absolutely blossom in the right home.

Story
Ace is a good dog. It sadens our family to have to rehome him, but he needs more attention than we can give him. We have a special needs adult and special needs toddler in the home and he is not able to get the attention he needs and wants. Ace can be very gentle and soft mannered, but he has a ton of energy. We hope to find a home that can give him the love and attention he deserves. Walks, play time, kisses, cuddles and attention to his health and hygiene. Ace loves people, being around people and loving on people. He is afraid of small dogs and doesn't really get along with large dogs at first.
