Story
***At this time we are ONLY doing adoptions within the immediate Sacramento area. Please fill out an adoption application on our website.*** My name is LOLA, aka LalalalaLola, Lolita Mamacita, Lowes, Lolo. (My humans love nicknames.) I answer to all of them, especially if there's food or a rubdown involved. My humans called me Lola because I am low to the ground. I think I'm just aerodynamic. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I’m 9 years old! I came to my humans with four itty bitty puppies, which I cared for and played with, until they got their new homes. I am proud to say I raised beautiful, if rambunctious, pups! My perfect day is: get up; stretch in my crate; eat breakfast; go outside and potty; sunbathe in the backyard (I know all the best places to go as the sun moves); hangout and watch TV with my humans for awhile (especially Animal Planet, I sleep if the news is on); hang out in my crate until the big guy gets home; go for a walk; eat dinner; go potty and watch some TV before bed. I am learning good manners. I know sit, down, leave it and off. I obey about 80% of the time. I also know to wait for my food and to wait to be invited in the house or out the gate. I am a work in progress. With consistency I'm a fast learner and love to make my humans happy. I love to fetch exactly 2.5 times, with great enthusiasm. My favorite toy is...I'm not sure. I eat them before I grow to like them. But a frozen cow bone section keeps me happy for months. I love humans of all shapes and sizes. Cuddling is my favorite game. My humans say I can't hold my licker, but I think they secretly love it. It's really hard to keep all my love inside. I gotta let it fly! I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I really like watching them on TV, but don't see the need to share my home with them. With all this love, why would you want more than me? I have a very waggy tail, a happy-go-lucky disposition, and am about 9 years old. Give me a home and I'll give you all my love and my very best efforts to melt your heart! Lola should be the only pet in the house. She prefers to be able to only have to share her love with her humans. 💗💗💗 The adoption fee for Lola is $300 Interested in meeting this dog or another one of our available dogs? Simply complete and submit our adoption application on our website www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org (FROM YOUR HOME COMPUTER, not cell phones, yet! We’re working on that!!) and we will respond to you within 3-5 days. Once a yard check is completed and you’ve passed the adoption process, you’re welcome to meet any of our dogs!!! NorCal Bully Breed Rescue (NBBR) is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread throughout the Sacramento area. We require our adopters to be within a 50 mile radius of us. This is because we need to do a physical yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. (*FaceTime or Skype are NOT acceptable methods of communication regarding yard checks.) We HAVE made exceptions for dogs that have been with us long term, and for senior dogs. We would still need to perform a yard check, and would be happy to do so for a dog that has been passed over repeatedly, but not for dogs that are in high demand. It would need to be to a neighboring state to California. NOT across the country. That would be too much. (*We will NOT be making this exception for puppies or designer breed dogs, so please don’t ask. It’s way too much for us to have to request time off of work and lose pay to drive a dog out of area when we have plenty of great homes in our area wanting to adopt these dogs.) We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and typically range from $200-$500. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary). In the case of designer breed dogs, like French Bulldogs and English Bulldogs, the adoption fee will be significantly higher in order to offset the costs associated with their surgeries, or associated with their demand. Thanks so much for your interest, and we hope we are able to match you up with your next family member!!! Looking forward to your application!!!

Story
Potter is a special needs pup with hydrocephalus; he needs a family that will keep his head safe and be ok with his developmental delays. WHAT IS YOUR NAME? My name is Potter, Hydrocephalus Superhero. ARE YOU A GIRL OR A BOY? I’m a little boy. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born around January 28, 2023. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I’m a French Bulldog. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? 18lbs WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am a cute, little guy! I’m white and brindle piebald, whatever piebald means. I have a little arrow marking on my forehead and white frosting on my ears. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I like moist kibble and dog-friendly treats. I’m not too sure about the carrots or apples that my foster mom offers me, but if you gave me some chicken or other tasty dog-friendly food from your plate, I would probably gobble it up! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? Well, I’m not sure if you know, but I’m kind of a big deal! And all the things that make me different are the same things that make me special. I’m sweet and spunky and living in the moment is my style. I am playful and love to wrestle and chew on my foster brother Tater. I’ve been told I can be kinda demanding; sometimes, I fuss and bark to let you know I want attention, food, or need to go potty. Sometimes, I howl when I’m in my carrier or crate because I want out! But I settle down easily. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day starts with a “good morning, Potter” and scratchies from my foster mom. Then I do a big stretch, go potty, and get ready for breakfast. Sometimes, I go back to sleep for a bit afterward. Once I’m up, I’m ready to play, explore, and find something to chew on like my Benebone. I eat lunch and nap. I spend time chilling, playing tug-o-war, maybe have another nap, and more exploring. I take my medication at 7:00 p.m. sharp and start my bedtime routine of chewing a yak stick, and then snuggle and sleep. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? Anything to tug-o-war and my yak stick. If you let me, I will nibble your fingers and toes. Sometimes I wrestle the dog bed and drag it as far as I can! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? No, but I know my name and I come when being called. I’m not sure about learning more. WHAT SCARES YOU? Sometimes loud noises and sudden overhead movement can be scary. I’m little, so people standing over me make me cower or try to get away. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? DO YOU LIKE THEM? Yes, but because I can’t play rough and need to be safe guarded, it’s best if I am around older kids that understand. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I don’t think I’ve met a cat, so I am not sure. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I LOVE other dogs. They are fun, but being around gentle dogs that are not too big, who won’t knock me over, or squish me, is safer. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Hanging out with my person or forever family doing whatever they’re doing. I’m easy going. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I was born with Hydrocephalus. I have no idea what that is, but like I said, I’m a superhero and I’m gonna live every day to the fullest. Hydro makes me wobble around, unsteady on my feet, and fall over, but it doesn’t slow me down or stop me from having fun! Humans must be careful with me and ensure my head is protected as much as possible. Other than that, I’m great! Did I mention I am kind of a big deal? WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom and my foster brother. I love them both! I really like my foster brother because he lets me chew on him. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I stay in my very own X-pen with toys and a fluffy bed to lounge on, access to my food and water, and plenty of room to potty if I need to. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep on my comfy bed in my very own penned area – you know, superhero style. Sometimes, I fall asleep with my foster mom and magically wake up in my bed. I think it must be one of my superpowers. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? The most important thing for me with walks is that I won’t be going on any walks on the hard pavement. I’ll probably be more of a explore and stumble around on the soft grass kind of guy…. In case I fall over. DO YOU HAVE ANY "NOT-SO-GREAT" HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? FOR INSTANCE, DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD? Um, I like to bark demands and do mischievous stuff, like tear up my potty pads when bored… I don’t think that is so bad. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? (MEANING DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE) No, I go potty on potty pads and sometimes I just go wherever I happen to be. I might be able to be potty-trained, but you’ll have to be very patient with me. DO YOU LIKE WATER? Only to drink and for bathing. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love that they protect me, are patient and kind, play with me, and love me. I’m living the dream. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I was born different, so some nice ladies rescued me and brought me from far away to NorCal. Now, I live in a wonderful foster home and my future is wide open… Did I mention I am kind of a big deal? If you’d like to have a superhero in your life, I am SO ready to love you forever! **Potter's adoption fee is $1,000.00** If you are interested in adopting Potter, please jump on our website and read why about the adoption fees for special breeds BEFORE filling out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas. Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hello! My name is Cairo. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am two years old as of April 2024. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I weigh about 95 pounds. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am tall, dark gray and sinfully handsome, with absolutely mesmerizing large gray/light brown eyes! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I am very happy with kibble and love apples. I am a very healthy eater! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am the sweetest gentle giant! I am super shy at first, and can be a little nervous about new things. However, once I get comfortable in my surroundings, I get really playful and cuddly! And I definitely love my quiet time to snooze in peace. Overall I am just a low-key, lovable introvert DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY My perfect day is pretty simple: good food, good friends, and good naps! I'm not one for adventure so staying home and just enjoying my big backyard is the best! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love chew toys! My favorite is the Benebone. Yummy! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am pretty good at sit, down, and paw to shake. I also will use my paw to ask you nicely for attention, like belly rubs! WHAT SCARES YOU? My shyness makes me a bit uncertain about many things. I may take a week or two to warm up to a new place, once I know what and where everything is. I am so happy my foster mom is patient with me as I adjust to new things! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN, DO YOU LIKE THEM? I am naturally very kindhearted and gentle. However, due to my size, a home with older children, or no children, may be a better fit than with small children. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I have ignored cats that I have come across while in foster care, but I have not lived with any. So no cats please. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I LOVE other dogs, big or small! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD IT BE? I would be napping on a quiet beach somewhere in the Caribbean. But I'd settle for a large backyard with a kiddie pool! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I am very strong and healthy. No issues! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? My sister, Cleo, and I live with our foster mom, foster grandma, and four other small dogs. We love to play and spend time together. My favorite human is my foster mom, of course. She shows me patience and understanding, and gives me toys and treats and food! She is the best! WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I am crate trained, so I nap in my cozy crate when I am home alone. I love having my crate as a safe place while I acclimate to new places. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I love to steal my foster mom’s bed for my daytime naps, especially if foster mom naps with me! But I sleep comfortably in my crate, too. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON THE LEASH? I am not comfortable with walking out in the big scary world yet. I don’t mind the leash, but until I am more confident, walks are a bit overwhelming. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT, FOR INSTANCE DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD? My foster mom says I like to hog the bed during naptime, but I have no bad habits! I don’t bark excessively, don’t chew on things I am not supposed to…foster mom said she’s so pleased with what a good boy I am! ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? Yes, I am house trained. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I LOVE water! I get excited to play in the water, and I tolerate baths, even though they’re not as much fun as a kiddie pool! WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love that they let me be me, without crowding me or pushing me to be an extrovert like my sister. I may be shy and quiet, but I do love my humans and the cuddles they give me. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NOR CAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? Cleo and I were found roaming the streets all by ourselves. My shyness may stem from that situation, and that is possibly why I am not thrilled about taking walks outside of my safe space. But I am growing more confident each day, and I would love to come to your home to experience a fun new life of love and cuddles with you! **CAIRO’S ADOPTION FEE IS $200.** If you are interested in adopting CAIRO, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas. WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi! I’m Quiche! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m a darling little girl. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am a little over one year old as of the end of 2024. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a French Bulldog. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am around 19 pounds of pure cute! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am beautiful tan color with a sprinkle of brown on my back and I have the cutest little button nose! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I like to eat my dry kibble for meals. But, oh boy, do I love fruit as well! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a young pup, so I have a lot of energy. I love to run fast and I love to play with ALL the toys. I’m a little bundle of fun! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY? I love hanging out with my people, playing with my toys, and getting lots of attention from anyone and everyone! That sounds just perfect to me! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I like all toys. And I really love my yummy Benebones. They’re tasty! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am still a young girl, so I am a work in progress. Learning to be a good girl is tricky… so that’s what we can call my tricks for now. WHAT SCARES YOU? Loud noises scare me. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I will pass on children, thank you. I am partial to the grown up humans and would do best in a child-free home. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I have two cats that I share a room with in my foster home. I like them a lot! I’d like to play with them, but they are not really interested in playing with me. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I like other dogs, especially if they will play with me! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I would be with my family that loves me, likes to cuddle, lets me sleep in the house and will never let me go. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I am in great health! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom, five doggies, and two cats! WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I am safe and cozy in my crate. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep in a crate in the cats’ room! DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? Yes, I walk very well on a leash. The world is so interesting and I love to explore! DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Did I mention I’m young? So, yup, I do typical young pup things and need patience and guidance to become my best doggy self. But as I grow up, I will learn what is good and what is not so good. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am potty trained! We have a doggie door in my foster home and I just go outside when I need to potty. Sometimes it is hard to hold my potty overnight, but I am getting better and better! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I am getting used to it. But I am a Frenchie, and we are not built for water activities, so please keep me safe from pools or other large bodies of water. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? My foster family gives me lots of love. I get to play with lots of friends and they are patient with me! WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I’m not really sure what happened before. I know the nice people at NorCal Bully Breed Rescue took me in when no one else wanted me. I am so excited to find a family that will want to love me forever and ever! It’s such a dream for me to feel like I belong and I have a home of my own. Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hello, I’m Raisin! 🩷 ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m an energetic young lady. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am between two and three years old WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I’m a French Bulldog. 🐶 HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I’m 26 pounds of perfection. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I’m adorable! I have a gray brindle coat and the most impressive underbite you’ve ever seen! My show stopper is my ears - one stands up, one flops down. Humans can’t resist my cuteness.🥰 WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I’m a big fan of my kibble for breakfast and dinner, and I love doggie treats! Carrots too. Those little orange sticks are delicious! 🥕🥕 I will do just about anything for a treat. Sit. Stay. Walk up the silly couch stairs the humans have set up for me. If food is involved, I’m in! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a curious gal and I hate to miss out on anything. I want to be around the action and my people all the time. If not much is happening, I’ll take a nap until the fun starts again. I’m loving, snuggly, and playful too. Everyone laughs when I get the zoomies after dinner. I don’t want to brag, but I’m pretty fast. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day would start with snuggles as soon as I wake up. Then breakfast and a walk around the neighborhood to say hello to all my friends. I’d come home and take a nap to recharge before playing in the yard. All that running around would make me sleepy again so I’d take an afternoon nap with my foster mom. Our dog-friend, Harvey, would come over for dinner and we’d play in the backyard all evening. Then, to top it all off, I’d get to snuggle in bed with my foster parents all night. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love balls! They are so much fun to chase! 🎾 DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I can put an entire tennis ball in my mouth! I’m not great at bringing it back yet, but I sure do love to chase it! I’ll sit for a treat, and am pretty good at “stay” now too! I also respond quickly to the word “No.” I’m a good girl so I don’t hear it too often, but when I do, I know that I have to stop what I’m doing. 😇 WHAT SCARES YOU? Sudden loud noises startle me, but I’m a brave girl. The vacuum cleaner is curious. I can’t decide if I want to play with it or stay away. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I love kids and they love me! I get to play with big kids and the ones more my size, too. My foster family has a 14 and 11-year old. I love them and their friends too. I recently got to spend a week with a 5-year old and 17-month old and I was a very good girl with both ages. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I’m not sure if I’ve ever met a cat. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I LOVE to play with other dogs!!! But I want to be the favorite, so I’ll wedge myself between another dog and the humans if they are giving that dog too much attention. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Napping with my human. I love to snuggle up for a nap. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I am a healthy gal! Before my foster family started caring for me, I was hit by a car, so I favor my right rear leg, but it doesn’t slow me down. I’ve been told not to jump on or off of things and not to climb many stairs, but I need guidance from my humans to keep me in line with those rules. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster dad, foster mom, two big kids - 14 and 11, and their resident dog. My foster mom is my favorite. I follow her around all day and love to snuggle up with her anytime she sits down. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I have the entire office all to myself! It has my dog bed, food and water in it. I’m such a good girl when I’m in the office. I don’t bark or whimper at all. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep in the office too. I don’t mind it, but I’d rather sleep with the humans. 😴 Have I mentioned that I love to cuddle? DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? Walking on a leash is so much fun! I’m pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. I don’t need a long walk; maybe half a mile or so. 🦮 DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I wouldn’t call barking at other dogs from the window a bad habit. I’m protecting the house from potential danger. 🦸 ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am doing my best. My humans take me outside first thing every morning and make sure I go outside throughout the day. I’m learning to tell someone that I need to go potty by going to a door, but I still have an accident occasionally. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I love to stand in the kiddie pool when it’s hot outside, but I am not built for swimming. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? My foster family is home a lot, so we can spend tons of time together. I love all the action when the kids and dogs are around, and the quiet moments are nice too. They have a backyard that I can run around in, a big dog that I try to play with all the time, and they let me cuddle up on the couch with them. Being part of the family is the best. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? That is such a good question. I don’t remember much from before NorCal Bully Breed Rescue found me. All I know is that I am ready now to find a family that I can call my own forever and ever. Maybe you can be my family? 💕 ⭐️RAISIN’S ADOPTION FEE IS $1,500.⭐️ For information on why our Bulldog fees are set as they are, please click on the following link: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=5004742079644959&id=333019703483910&mibextid=qC1gEa If you are interested in adopting RAISIN, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County). WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi hi! I am Salt! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I am such a sweet girl! 🥰 HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am around three years old as of August 2024. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a bully mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I weigh a perfect 55 pounds. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am black with a white chest and white paws, and a giant happy smile full of love! 😍 WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? Oh, I love my yummy kibble, but I won’t turn you down if you want to offer me a tasty morsel from the treat jar as a reward for being such a good girl! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I can be shy when meeting new people, but I am quick to warm up and then I am everyone’s best friend! I love attention and “talk” a lot to make sure that everyone knows I’m supposed to be getting the MOST attention! 🤭 DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day is hanging out with my people and playing with my foster brother, Sage, until we are tired. Then it’s nap time! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I really enjoy bones of all sorts. I also like to play fetch with stuffies that my foster mom throws for me. That is the MOST fun!🧸 DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I will sit like such a good girl in exchange for a yummy treat! I am food motivated, so I would love to learn more tricks if you’d like to feed me more! WHAT SCARES YOU? I am cautious around new people and dogs. With slow introductions, I will figure out that I don’t need to worry about new things, so please show me patience. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? Yes, I have! I have been around some 11-year-olds and I do very well. Because I am a bit uncertain about new things, it is probably best for me to hang out with older kids rather than little ones, since the little ones will not understand my need for taking things slowly. DO YOU LIKE CATS? Oh, no thank you. I am not a fan of cats. 🐱 HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? If you set me up for success with slow, safe introductions, I would love to have a dog to play with. My foster brother and I have lots of fun playing together.🐶 IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? With my forever family and possibly a foster sibling! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? When I was rescued, I had some injuries to my shoulders and pelvis, but those have healed up nicely. When I run, I have a bit of a hitch in my giddy-up, but that doesn’t stop me from having fun! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom, foster sister, their three resident dogs, three resident cats (who I do not like), and another foster dog sister. My closest companion is Sage, my foster brother Rhodesian Ridgeback.💕 WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? When I am home alone, I am either in the kitchen/living room area for short periods of time, or in my X-pen in the garage. No matter where I am, I do not have a problem being alone. I am such a good girl! WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep in my cozy X-pen in the garage.😴 DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I do not mind walking on a leash. I get a bit overexcited when I see other dogs on a leash, but if you take the time to work with me, I will learn to temper my excitement.🐕‍🦺 DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I am an enthusiastic playmate and sometimes get a little excited, but I'm still learning my boundaries. I prefer to enjoy my meals and bones in peace, and I appreciate when my space is respected during those times. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? Yes! I am house trained and will wait for my foster mom to take me out to go potty. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I do! Sometimes I get to play with water when my mom is washing her car, and that is so much fun! I am also a very good girl when it comes to bath time! 🛁 WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? My foster family has been so wonderful helping me recover from my injuries and helping me not be scared. I am learning what it feels like to be safe and loved, and that’s the most amazing feeling! WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I actually don’t remember too much about the “before times.” I got hurt and ended up in a shelter, which wasn’t very fun. But then NorCal Bully Breed Rescue swooped in and got me out of that place so I could heal in a safe, comfortable, loving foster home. Now I am feeling so much better and it is time for me to find my forever family! I would love to meet you and come home with you for cuddles and loves! 💖 ⭐️SALT’S ADOPTION FEE IS $ 100.⭐️ If you are interested in adopting SALT, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County).
