**Courtesy post** Russell is a stunning 6 year old Staffy whose life started out not great. This boy was bounced from home to home then back and forth to the shelter, until a wonderful rescue group, Bullies and Buddies, pulled him from the overcrowded shelter. Russell is loving his foster home with alumni @bowiethehippo and Ziggy the kitty. This boy thrives on consistency and direction. While incarcerated in the shelter for almost 2 years, a volunteer started working w/him and getting him out but it was so hard on him, mentally and emotionally, to be put back into his cold, wet, concrete prison cell after experiencing a few minutes of freedom. He was in an amazing foster home for three months and then spent one month in board and training @k9kommittee building confidence and trust. Russell never had any consistency in his life until Bullies and Buddies recognized what a fabulous boy Russell is an rescued him. He is SO smart and goofy. He loves to play or just chill out. Russell is 60 pounds, house and crate trained, and good with dogs with proper intro. He loves a calm environment, so no kiddos. Russell has SO much potential and loves to please and learn. We are looking for someone with breed experience that can continue to set him up for success. He will come with two free training sessions.
