Story
This sweet girl is a three-year old female husky looking for her forever home. She knows basic commands such as sit, down, wait, stay, and come. She's fine with cats, walks nicely on leash, and is not reactive to other leashed dogs. She absolutely loves playing with toys, fetching balls, splashing in the water, and relaxing on her bed. While she's a total lovebug with humans, she does exhibit resource guarding behavior with other dogs in the home, which is why she needs to be the only dog in her future home. We brought her home in August and were unaware of her challenges with other dogs at the time. Unfortunately, she does not get along with our current dog. After consulting with a canine behavior specialist, we've kept them separated, and in doing so, we've seen her open up in a whole new way. This experience helped us make the difficult decision to find her a new home where she can thrive as the only dog.

Story
Joan Jett is from the Singers litter. She was able to spend a few days with her mama at the shelter before circumstances necessitated the litter to transfer to Itsie Bitsie Rescue. She thrived in the care of one of our fantastic bottle puppy fosters. Jett has developed into a mellow, happy go lucky social girl. She has been carried on several walks, shared her sweet kisses with residents of Eskaton, and relishes a good run around the yard with her large and small roommates. Jett is going to be a big girl so exposing her to new interesting things will encourage her curious and friendly temperament. She is interested in her cat roomies; respects the feisty ones and likes to play with the nice ones. She is crate trained and 90% potty trained. Jett is now on the lookout for her perfect forever family. **All Itsie Bitsie Puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, dewormed, and vet-checked. IBR requires landlord permission for renters and a yard check for all puppies. We do not adopt out siblings. Please allow volunteers a few days to look over applications. An adoption fee applies. Volunteers will CALL if your application is selected for a phone interview.

Story
Hi! I am Stevie Nicks from the Singers litter. My siblings and I were in the shelter with our mama but, after a few days, circumstances necessitated that we be transferred to Itsie Bitsie Rescue. I grew up in a loving foster home with my siblings and now that I am old enough, I moved to another foster home where I spend my days with two doggy foster sisters, a human foster brother and two foster pawrents. Even though I don’t live with any kitties, I think I would do well with proper introductions. I just like to play so hope they will play with me back. I love to play with other doggies and if they don’t feel like playing, after I tried getting their attention, I can usually find something to do like play with toys or chase my tail. Once I’m tuckered out, I crash hard on my doggy bed or next to my foster mom under her desk while she works. I am great around small kids but I still need a reminder from time to time they aren’t like playing with other doggy friends or not to jump up on them but I listen well when told “no” and can be redirected easily. I love to chase the water out of the outside hose, pounce around like a cat when I play - pawing and all - drag my toys around the house and really love my chew toys. I am crate trained at night with no accidents and about 90% potty trained during the day. I am extremely smart and learned to use a doggy door all on my own but sometimes I get too distracted and I forget to potty outside but always go outside if reminded. I am very curious and like to follow everyone around to see what they are doing. I love learning new things and always excited to go on any adventure. I am looking for my furever home, preferably with another doggy friend so I have someone to play with or an active family that is around often. I am super sweet, so with continued love and training, I will grow up to be the best girl! **All Itsie Bitsie Puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, dewormed, and vet-checked. Story
Cher is from the Singers litter. She was able to spend a few days with her mama at the shelter before circumstances necessitated the litter to transfer to Itsie Bitsie Rescue. She thrived in the care of one of our fantastic bottle puppy fosters. Cher is all black with a few white accents and her adorable blue/green eyes will melt your heart! She is smart and doing incredibly well with potty training but still needs further encouragement to advance to 100% on that. Cher is a real team player, has a super sweet personality, and plays well with everyone which includes other dogs, cats, adults and kids. Cher is very active and enjoys playing outside, but also loves quality time snuggling with her humans. She sleeps through the night already! No doubt that Cher is perfect for someone looking for a loving and fun companion. **All Itsie Bitsie Puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, dewormed, and vet-checked.
