Story
We've been fostering Bodie for 6 months and he is so incredibly sweet, LOVES to snuggle & endlessly enjoys belly rubs. An even-tempered, very adaptable, a quick learner, & devoted companion. This handsome boy wants nothing more than to spend his days as your shadow & sidekick. He is kind & gentle with kids and quickly learned the difference between his toys and kids’ toys . He has truly enjoyed learning all the different commands & tricks, has done well with other dogs in his foster home & has shown great care & restraint with a bearded dragon. We’ve been amazed at his respect for established boundaries & rules. Very good on a leash but is currently working on his leash manners when encountering other dogs on walks. He’s continued to made great progress in this area. If you’re looking for a forever best friend who will greet you in the morning with the most adorably endearing kisses & are ready to give this angel the connection & affection he deserves; Bodie would LOVE to meet you.

Story
Donut is a loving, sweet, super smart 6 year old Chiweenie we rescued as a puppy. We no longer have the time and resources to meet his needs. Donut is a true lapdog, incredibly affectionate, loyal and the best cuddle bug. When left in the home, he needs another dog/someone in the pack to keep him company. He gets along well with dogs, is fun, energetic and friendly towards people.

Story
Ahsoka was adopted on her last day of 72 hour notice at a high kill shelter. She was initially surrendered because her human passed away and her family couldn’t keep her. I had hoped to give her a forever home but unfortunately I’m unable to keep her long term due to problems with housing. She is super sweet and is dog friendly. She is shy at first but is a total cuddle bug. She is currently in a train and board program and is learning a lot. She is crate trained and has obedience training. Videos of Ahsoka available on @ravenouscanine

Story
Nimbus is super friendly towards all humans, including little ones. He would benefit from having a large space to roam when he feels like it but he seems to prefer hanging with his people when given the choice. Nimbus gets along well with female dogs and cats that he has been introduced to. He loves walks, meeting new people, sitting by the front door to see what's going on outside, having his teeth cleaned by his Brussels Griffon friend and going for a nice drive. He is great in the car, even on road trips. Fun fact: Cumulonimbus are the giant white towering clouds and that's where Nimbus got his name.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
It saddens me I need to rehome my loveable and happy Winter. I never imagined I could forge such a bond with a dog. Sadly, I must as I have to relocate to get some long term medical attention. My son rescued Winter in Hawaii during covid and I got so attached to her I brought her home with me in LA. She is an aloha dog. Winter loves people and our pets - big and small. She sits, lays down, comes, and stays on command. She is ~3.5 years young. You can see from the pictures she loves to walk and hike. She loves doggie parks too and its funny to watch her try to gather other dogs. Her vet thinks she is part jack russell and possibly Ausie Cattle dog - she has some gathering tendencies. All her shots are completely up to date as of 9/24. I have all her records. Happy to answer any questions. Scott

Australian Shepherd

Female, Adult
Glendale, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sybil was taken in as a puppy from a friend in 2021. She’s fun loving and full of energy. My current job and living situation don’t allow her to get the exercise and attention she deserves, so a home with several people or a big yard to run in would be ideal. Sybil is house trained, but has a penchant for getting into trouble if she’s bored. She also submissive pees if she gets overly excited (if a friend comes to visit) or if she’s scared (I stubbed my toe and yelled loudly). Otherwise she’s very sweet, loves to cuddle, loves to stay by people’s sides, gets along with other dogs, with some cats, and most people she meets.
