Story
Sweetpea as rescued from a local shelter after being turned in as a stray. Sweetpea came with a lot of medical issues that have taken time to fix, she has had TECA surgery on both her ears and that leaves her with very little hearing now. She's had eye surgeries and is spayed now. Sweetpea just loves people and wants to play all the time. She loves to go for walks and does well on a leash. Sweetpea is from a shelter and is unknown with small children. Sweetpea is recommended to be an only dog, however, she is not reactive when she see's other dogs on walks. Cats are unknown.

Story
My name is Sally. Aren’t I the cutest cup of vanilla pudding? I’m a very sweet 7’ish year old girl. I get along with other dogs and cats, am potty trained and love my crate. My only issue is that my previous person didn’t provide me with any medical care and so my dry eye condition was untreated which has left me mostly blind. I can see movement and shadows but that’s about it. Because of my poor vision I cannot read dog body language well and will sometimes approach them when they don’t want me to and bump into them which makes some of them angry. I like other dogs and my nub starts wagging in their presence, but I definitely have a handicap when it comes to meeting them. So I would need a patient dog brother or sister. I also probably shouldn’t live with very small children since I won’t see them coming and I could get startled. Older kids who can understand my blindness would be OK. I do also require some pretty good food to keep my allergies at bay but hey, that’s any bulldog, am I right? Oh and I’ll need daily eye drops, but that’s pretty common for bulldogs as well. Thanks for reading my story. I’ve been in rescue a very long time and would love a home of my own.

Story
Oreo is a small dog with a lot of energy and loves to go on long walks. He always has one ear up and one ear down, which makes him adorable! He has been great, socially, with other dogs but has not lived in a home with one so more testing is needed. He has lived in a kennel since last November. He was adopted once and returned for having too much energy. Please consider giving Oreo another chance!

Story
Bruce is a very large and playful boy! He is taller than your average bulldog and loves to go for long walks. He is curious about everything and can even reach counters so he likes to explore them, too! He loves toys, treats, and affection but like your typical bulldog, he can be stubborn and strong. He will need an experienced owner that will take time to help learn to be an even better boy. He can jump up and play mouthy when he gets excited. Bruce is still being tested with other dogs but he does not like cats. No small children, as he may knock them over. He is mostly potty trained but lives in a kennel so he may need a reminder once in a home. Consider giving this big tub of love a chance!

Story
Candy is a energetic, loving girl that loves to play! She's great a fetch and loves toys. She came into rescue from the shelter with very prominent cherry eyes that have since been fixed. Her left eye is a little cloudy from not being cared for properly in the past but she takes her eye drops like a very good girl. She loves to give you her paw and loves belly rubs. She is also very smart and trainable. She can't wait to snuggle up on the couch with you! She has done well with other dogs but can play rough so a tolerant dog would be best. She has not been around children or cats.
