Story
Tekko is a sassy old man who doesn’t make much noise. He was my grandfathers dog who he rescued and had for 3 years before he sadly passed away. I adopted Tekko and have been caring for him for 2 years. He has seizures due to a condition he has and has been on medication. But he is always loving and the quietest chihuahua anyone has ever met. He loves to curl up under a blanket when he sleeps , and can eat half of his body weight in food when the need strikes him. He indicates when he needs to go out but you better be quick because he will find himself a suitable spot quickly. He needs a home to live out his golden years and sadly due to a recent move we can no longer house him.

Story
Meet the lovely Amelia! This wonderful dog was rescued as a stray in Fresno, and brought to FDR for a second chance at life. While she was very timid at arrival, within a few days she blossomed into a loving and affectionate sweetheart with the people she knows, and is ready to find the forever family that will support and nurture her as she continues to open up and gain confidence! She is a very brave girl who has started to enjoy walks, and is slowly expanding her social circle with the help of our great volunteer team. She is still very hesitant with men, and would love to join a female household where she can comfortably continue to gain trust and make progress. She has silly mannerisms, is coy and cuddly, and it's impossible to not smile when you're spending time with her! She is truly a special dog and we can't rave enough about how much we adore her. Amelia will be a wonderful companion to a home that is as loving as she is. *Be sure to remember, Northern Breeds have an intense prey drive. Not suitable around cats, small dogs under 20lbs, or other small animals. Apply for this beautiful girl today! Adoption donation is $495.
