Story
We met this beautiful girl at a local Walmart while collecting Toys for Tots with the Explorers. A family was moving out of state with four kids and dogs in a small RV and didn't have room for her. We took her in and she became an unofficial mascot of our post and she wound up housed in our place. She has amazing eyes, beautiful coat and is full of energy. She is wonderful with people, especially kids. Best of all she is not finicky. She'll make a fine guard dog and companion for everyone in your home. Unfortunately changes at the station, as well as my own living situation--I am going overseas, and getting married--mean we need to find her a more permanent and still loving home.

Story
Sakara is a beautiful, soft, loving, and loyal smaller Siberian Husky. Once she becomes acquainted with her family, she acts like such a baby. She loves to go on walks, road trips, loves to be petted, enjoys playing fetch and running around the yard, then naps several times a day. She is super curious about meeting new people and other dogs. She does not bark. Sakara will need time to acclimate to a new environment and people. While she's very loving and sweet, she'll need to gain the trust of her new humans. Over the years, she's become sensitive to people rubbing her belly, but she does allow her owners to do this. She also allows us to remove her food while eating, and we can take her toy while she has a treat in it, but this has taken time to develop that trust and understanding. We groom her ourselves due to her sensitivities.

Story
Hello there! I’m Bratwurst. I’m a 2 year old, chi-weenie looking for a family to cozy up with this fall (and beyond). My foster mom describes me as the perfect mix of chill and playful, because as much as I enjoy my leashed walks and toys, I can also be found snuggling up with a good blanket. Better yet, I have the classic tan Chihuahua coloring! I am great around kids and other dogs so the more the merrier. Like all other Lucky Chi’s I’m neutered, fully vaccinated and had my dental. If I seem like a good fit for you, please fill out a form at the bottom of our Adoptable Chi’s page!

Story
Hi there! My name is Chance because Lucky Chi Dog Rescue gave me a second chance to find a great retirement home. I’m 10 years young and am a good, chill boy. I love snuggling up with my family and watching tv. I’m great with kids and other dogs so I’m not too picky about where I’m going to live as long as I’m loved. I am a little bit of a chunky monkey, but that just makes me better to cuddle with. If you need a buddy to spend the holidays with, I’m your guy! Like all other Lucky Chi’s I’m neutered, fully vaccinated and had my dental. If I seem like a good fit for you, please fill out a form at the bottom of our Adoptable Chi’s page!

Story
Meet Jet, a 6-month-old Gerbarian Shepsky (German Shepherd/Husky mix) with a tricolor coat (mostly tan) and a big heart. We got him at 8 weeks old, and he’s grown into a friendly, energetic pup, around 40 pounds. Jet has had professional training—he’s housebroken, leash-trained, and knows commands like sit, stay, come, and lay down. He’s great with kids and loves playing fetch, swimming, and going for walks. Due to a full-time return to the office, we’re looking for a home where Jet can get the attention he craves. He doesn’t like being alone for long and needs a family with time for him. Jet comes with two kennels, his toys, and eats Hill’s Science Diet puppy food. His shots are up to date, but he is not neutered. We’re asking for a nominal adoption fee to ensure he finds the right match. Could your home be his perfect fit?
